Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!
Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!
Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Ladies, My son told me every div. will get time in recruit heaven, just depends on where they placed as to how long they get. I don't want to put false hope of a phone call but maybe they get to get time tomorrow. I know how it feels not to hear for awhile from your recruit I only got two letters the entire time. I hope you all get a call tomorrow.....

Dubbie- be glad you haven't received an unexpected phone call from your son! The only reason I heard from my husband (div.166), was because it was something negative. Only three more days till you hear from him!

Barb-ship 10 iv. 165, its ok to feel that way honey, my son is in 166 and i feel the same way. i'm very happy and support the one's that got phone calls, but man i wish i could have heard from my son as well. i'm sorry to be such a downer! i hope things will be much better in the morning.OMG I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MY SAILOR!

I Got my scarf today. so of course positive. rachel does not go till Monday night i think how many got phone calls today it was captains cup right? how do we know if they won something? i feel like so many are hearing news and i am hearing nothing. ok stop it barb it will be fine
