Steven's Proud Step Mom, Saw you posted to the discussion group I started for our son's Ship/Div. I tried to go to your site to add you as a friend, but it didn't seem to work. (I'm not new to blogging, but, this site seems to work a little different. I'll try again!) So glad to now be 'meeting' other mom's in Andrew's group! We'll be flying in from Texas for PIR/Graduation! Can't Wait!!!

My step son is on Ship 6 Div 921. So dang proud of him, I could bust my buttons. Also scared to death, I hate to fly but my husband and I are going to see him at his PIR. Anyone else?

Well God must have listened to my prayers b/c I got a phone call from my daughter this morning and got to talk quite a while. Seems it took 2 weeks for processing instead of 1 week so they may graduate a week later she wasn't sure.
She was tearing up at first but by the end of the call I told her about how proud we are here in this group of all our kids that made her smile also told her about the countdown clock she thought that was neat.
She was a little sad that she may be grad and go but told her that isn't set in stone either "I hope not" I really needed to hear from her and told her that her call came in just when I needed it the most.

Jess, my rcts address is Illinois St. Her husband probably got that off the 2nd page of the form letter that our recruits filled in with their Ship and Div as well.. So much info to take in. Just think how they feel!?!? I bet the first time my son comes home, he'll sleep for days!! Ha!
