Since we will all be sitting in the same section of the bleachers at PIR, maybe it would be nice to have us all post something here in this section. We could keep up with what the Division is doing…Continue

The two suites that we were in @ The Springhill Suites had bathtubs, but they were labled Wheelchair Suites....I saw the photos on line about not having bathtubs, only the new style glass enclosure showers that also had hand held shower heads. I loved that because the shower heads on the wall usually go over my head or not much further down! ...shorter people have that problem! I personally prefer a shower myself (esp. when traveling)...Hope this helps?
Well, the postman just came, I braved the wind and rain, in hopes of "the" letter, but alas, no letter, but maybe tomorrow, but the noes about all of you getting your letters keep me going, I know mine will be in the mail any day now.
Maybe we will all meet the night before PIR at the Meet and Greet...looking forward to seeing everyone that shows up.
Tricisious, I am so jealous, not I can't wait until the postman comes to our place, I hope my first letter is in the mail as well. I am so happy for you, I am crying tears of joy...and I am so happy that she confirmed the PIR date that is a big relief, even though we all were pretty sure of the date anyway. As I said before all my reservations have done and if by some horrible event that it changes, all the places I made reservations with will work with me on dates. Southwest was the only airline that offered that on their cheaper flights.
Once again very happy for you, I know you were totally excited!!
Hi All! My daughter just left Monday. She is my oldest of 3. She is 24, so, not right out of high school. Her name is Kari and she is from the Kansas City area. It was her and another girl by the name of Brenna going in together. They were the only 2 from KC on Monday. I am anxiously awaiting her info and address so I can pass it along to family so everyone can write. Im looking forward to everyone's support and friendship!
Tricsious: You may want to jot down some questions for her when she does call. Unless you write them in a letter. She will start getting info and will pass it along to you, I'm sure.
They actually get their orders right before PIR. They won't know flight info until PIR day, but will know before then what day they will be leaving GL.
Thank you for that info diannep. My dtr is going to Pensacola, FL for A school. She is going for Aircrew. That is about all I know for sure. I'm sure once I start getting more info I will have less anxiety. At this point, all this uncertainty is just killing me. I'll wait to hear from her. I'm glad to hear that they find out a few weeks in advance. I wasn't sure if they told them at graduation of right before so this gives enough time for planning.
