Someone please reassure me that this is not unusual. :-)

My daughter was finally able to call her husband last night.  I'm so glad that they made connections.  He said she failed one of her physical tests and will have to get extra time to work on this so she can catch up.  She had her wisdom teeth removed and was tearful.  I'm sure she is absolutely exhausted, both mentally and physically,...but I understand this is all part of the process.  Her division has had their share of "issues" in becoming a team.  I'm sure they aren't the first ones to struggle with these things and they sure won't be the last.  I just want her to focus, get her second wind and determination to get through this.

Ladies, Be sure to check out the BattleStations discussion group above for great info re: your SR's final test. Also, please be writing and asking for BattleStations dates for your SR's division, post here and in the discussion group, and we will get a schedule started.  Thanks!

A "picture page"...collage-style...printed front and back on one sheet of paper...is a great way to send photos.  Stores easily for them in their limited space, and you can get lots of piks on there.  Be sure to throw in some "funny" piks too...laughing is a great stress-reliever!  Don't forget piks of the pets....my son loved getting those when he was there.

Just wanted to let div 927 know I got my 2nd letter today! I'm so happy. It made my day. Hope everyone else got letters too.

I would even let your SR know in the last letter that it will be the final one that you are writing to them.  This way they will know not to look for anymore and won't be disappointed if they don't get any more.  My son did tell me when to stop writing to him in one of his letters to me and he also told me which letter was the last one that he was writing to me.

Glad to hear you are getting letters. When sending photos to save on space consider printing them on paper as part of your letter to save space, they have a very small area to keep things.  I typed all of my letters, included some questionnaires, some photos, some local sports highlights and jokes all in the letter but it was all copied into the letter.

Got my second letter today!! My Sr sounds good but a bit discouraged with his unit always getting in trouble for talking. He said one of the RDC's said they sounded like a bunch of teenage girls at a slumber party ...LOL!! Also they are on the tail end of the 5/20 PIR date so they are trying to catch up with all the other units graduating on that day. Technically he will only have been there 7 weeks and 4 days when he graduates. He also passed all his physical tests so far so that's good. He told me to keep writing everyday if I can, that's what is getting him through :) 31 more days!!!!!!!!!!
