How long have they been together? My boyfriend is in 811 and I'm not doing anything BUT waiting for him. Is she writing him? I write my SR everyday and send it off every other day. Just assure him that everything will work out, and that what's meant to be will always find a way! And tell him to stay focus on his objective, which is finishing RTC. Positive things is gonna be what pulls your SR through. :)
Still no letter from my daughter in ship 7 division 174. I'm sure it is because they are so extremely busy but I will admit,....it sure would be nice to hear something. I would like to know if they pulled her wisdom teeth and if her division is doing better. I understand they were having some trouble pulling together into a team. I think someone on this site mentioned that they had been black flagged. I've never been through anything military before, and while I find it very interesting and wonderful to be a part of a bigger picture,....the not knowing part is hard sometimes.
I got a letter! I got a letter! {Dancing, singing, laughing and crying!} Maybe it's the altitude? I am so joyful and so greatful to hear he is doing well, He passed his swim and PFA on the first try ! Does that mean he is done or will he still take the 2nd one later down the road?
On the subject of the issue with div. 811. I feel that this is a life lessen, not only to draw the cream of the crop to the top, but to build the trust in each other that they must have... to perform their missions both confident in each others moral stature, but in the fact that they are such a cohesive team they can trust their lives to each other. It may sound harsh, but hey, this is "The Navy" and they are our future SEALS......................
Good morning ladies...Well, 33 days till grad. I cant wait.. Has anyone gotten any calls from div.178..I heard they might come in this wekend..Just wondering..
To comment on div.811, did the person get in trouble for what he was writing or for not studying?I know our kids probably do hate where they are at times..I just hope they dont get held back..
Have a great day!

Scoutbeach, as unfair as it sounds to punish all, in the "real world" their lives are dependent on each other's actions. It's a real life lesson. As in the Marines, they're tearing them down to build them into the men and women that will keep each other safe and us, too. The few in the SEALS program that won't make it will wash out before they let everyone fail.
A friend's son went to boot camp qualified and wanting to be a SEAL, but then realized he wanted a family life someday. Not that a SEAL can't, but they have to put the mission first above anything. He opted out. He became a Nuke and it's been a good choice for him. They all find their way, some just on rougher roads (or seas!).
