anyone from 811 get a phone call? We haven't gotten mail service since last Friday due to the flooding here, so I called the post office and chewed them out. My husband is going to pick up our mail from the carrier's house-I told them I have to get my mail when I'm expecting one from my SR! So much for their mantra, "Nor rain nor sleet." Sigh. I feel like that ketchup commercial from the '70's-"Anticipation...is making me wait."

Has anyone received a letter or call from their SR in Ship 7 Div 177?

Still waiting........patiently......with smiles....

@Kelly, he said it is tough and they are one of the two all male divisions and he was happy his RDC's are Marines that have been cross trained (I picked up the sarcasm of that line). Overall, sounds like they are doing well and may be able to make a phone call on April 17th, that's right this Sunday, for maybe 20 min if no one messes up on anything. How wonderful is that?!

@Kelly in Katy, I got home and had 4 letters in the mailbox!!!! Moments later, I tripped and fell and tore open my knee. Apparently, I was so happy about receiving letters I forgot I was walking. O well! I'm in SC and it seems like it takes about 4 days for me to get mail so it might take a couple more days to get to you. Be on the lookout!!! I hope you get some soon!

Comment by RaeEli on April 14, 2011 at 11:23am

@Kelly In Katy... nothing yet. I'm going home during lunch to see if I have any mail today. Gosh I hope so!!! I will let you know.
