On Lala's Ribbons - take a look! Tastefully done.

Ditto on Lala's ribbons!  She gets them to you fast and they are very pretty!

Lala Ribbon Queen makes somes amazing ribbons to wear to PIR.  Its not too early to place an order with her.  I can tell you from experience that it made finding our son much easier.  Many of the boys saw the ribbon with his name and pointed me in the right direction.  Plus the ribbons are an awesome keepsake afterwards.

Good to 'see' you again momluvsmatt! I can't believe it's less than 40 days; I feel like the time is flying some days and dragging others. Have you made your reservations yet? I'm calling tomorrow for both airline and hotel/car.

I'm trying to find someone else whose son is in the 'Dirty Dozen' bathroom crew from D4 S811. What did your son say? How far are you from Chattanooga? We used to live in NGeorgia and would go there several times a year. Very pretty country. Are you going to meet and greet at the Ramada? I think we will, depending on our flight.

Woohoo!!! tomorrow we go down into the 30+ days until graduation, moved out of the 40s....time is moving so slow though...this website is a lifesaver for me...what did your son's letters say in div 811?

Hey, it's really nice if everyone could add their son/daughter's ship and div #, let's us know who all may be in the same group as our son/daughter.  Just add at the end of your profile name...

My son said he thinks they may get to call next week.. I can't wait to hear his voice.  He said he has so much to tell us.  He had to have 2 wisdom teeth cut out.  He is division leader over Port Watch.  He said he underestimated how hard this would be and how much he would miss home.  I am so proud of him. May 20 can't get here fast enough for me.. Does anyone know how long Pre-Buds will be for these guys??

Brenda that is sooo funny about the yelling, I can hear my son saying the same thing! LOL! BTW, my son is in DIV 811 too! :)

I can't wait to meet all of you and have you see my sailor re-enlist before PIR!  He was a kid who shrank from attention before the Navy.  His former HS teachers can't believe he's going to speak to all of you at that ceremony!  But the day is really all about your sailors, not mine, so I will be there to take pictures and post them for you.  If there's anything I can do for you or your sailors, let me know! How many boxes of kleenex should I bring?  Thread and needle for bursting your buttons with pride?
