From my figuring they should be coming up on their second actual week and this should be their second Sunday which means their schedule would go something close to this:

Second Sunday
- Holiday routine 07:00 - 13:00 (they call Sundays their Holiday)
- 13:00 - 14:00 Field day (Clean compartment)
- Dinner
- Lectures
----------------------------
2-1 Day
- Personal inspection
- uniform and grooming class.
- Special physical for Nukes, Aircrew, etc only
-----------------------------
2-2 Day
- Study time, study groups
- Start to practice watch with a 8mm Kimar pistol
- Training for WT1 inspection
----------------------------
2-3 Day
- Test one on:
~~First Aid
~~ Enlisted Rate/Rank recognition
~~ Uniform and Grooming
~~ US Navy Ships and Aircraft
---------------------------
2-4 Day
- 2nd issue of uniforms, if you have any IOU's from the 1st issue you get them here.
--------------------------
2-5 Day
- Dental work, many get wisdom teeth pulled and are SIQ (Sick in Quarters) for 2 days
----------------------

I could be mistaken, but from what I can tell from letters and comments they should start their third week, but in case I am mistaken, their 3rd week would go something like this:

3-1 Day
- Hair cuts again. Males get shaven (Navy Style), and females whose hair falls below the bottom edge of the collar get another haircut. You pay for it, so it's you. I'd say females cut it short before coming!
----------------------------
3-2 Day
- Classifications - Ratings if you are Nuke or AECF or do not have a specific rating only. You will list the order of what you rating you want etc. You should find out the following week what the Navy decided to give you. (Note: this is only for people in Nuke, AECF, or do not have a rating when coming in).
----------------------------
3-3 Day
- Study Time
- Weapons computer based training. You complete the course and print out the certificate. You must score 100%.
----------------------------
3-4 Day
- Seamanship Basic Skills class
---------------------------
3-5 Day
- Marlinespike. You get to practice the seamanship skills learned the day before. Important to know all roles because they will come in handy for Battle Stations.

I wrote to her and told her about this site and that I am on here with moms from her div and she said "i want names ma"  Lol.  I guess it can make them feel good to know we are all rooting for them together.  Kind of nice!

@amandarenee- I will keep him in my prayers.  My dtr hurt her knee so I am hoping it doesn't result in the same.  I am trying to stay positive and just encouraging her.  Hope it works.  I will defiinately keep you both in my prayers!

Tricsious - Thanks for the info.  I will write it on my calendar so I can track better what she is doing on what week.  Its nice to have others in the same "boat" (or ship) with you.

My dtr is in div 174.  On 3 Apr she wrote and said tomorrow (4 Apr) is day 1-3.  That means they were in processing well over a week.  She said weekends don't count.  So there day 1 is always Thur.  THey are 2-2 today.  Seems real slow to me!  Some recruits are in bootcamp longer than others.  They will graduate on 8-2. So they are actually there 9 weeks.  Make sense? Its confusing

Has anyone checked out the latest PIR pictures from today? 915 new sailors. I know our son is not one of them yet but it does mean that he and all of the rest of our SR's are one week closer to the PIR date 5/20/11!!! I think I actually saw a pic of our son already playing with the 927 Div! Could he already be performing? Lets stay positive and support each other! Prayers for all of you!

@ amandarenee especially to you on this tough day!

amandarenee84 - no matter what happens he will be fine, if he is released it means he is meant to be on a different path, this can be hard to deal with but we will have faith that it will work out for him. Sending prayers your way.

Mica:  RDCs don't open the SR's mail, but can make THEM open it in front of them if anything looks suspicious.  My son received a care pkg at Christmas when in bc...from TX.  He didn't know anyone in TX.  To this day, we have no idea who sent it...maybe it was from a vendor in TX but ordered from someone down here?  Not sure...but they aren't allowed to have anything like that, of course.  He had to open it in front of them....all the while saying he had no idea who would send him something...it was full of Christmas goodies, so of course, They took it from him.  Later, he saw them enjoying the treats themselves!  He thought that was funny...I guess the RDCs LOVE Christmas at bootcamp because of things like this!  :-)
