Sooo, there were 12 pages of posts since yesterday... I haven't read through them, but I'm hoping you all got your "Sailor" calls! It's an amazing phone call.

Can anyone tell me how we're going to pick each other out at the meet & greet or PIR? I know there was talk about buttons, but I don't know if that went anywhere. Sorry, I'm a little behind these days. If someone could just let me know on my page... I would be very appreciative.
Thanks! -Tammy

Over the past 8 weeks, the hardest thing I feel I had to do was to cut that final cord. When she turned 18, I let the cord loosen, but not all the way. This experience was my test as well to see if I could let go and let my adult child move onto her own life. Now I know how my mother felt when she had to let me go to live my own life. It was hard not having that little bit of control, but I survived. Having only 1 child, it was hard to send her into the world alone and not worry constantly, but I could not be any more proud of her at this very moment.

my3sons...That is call is well worth the wait!!!! Good luck, have a safe travel, and hope to see you tomorrow night.

To all of my new N4M friends...Thank you all so much for the support everyone has shown on this support site. I cannot wait to meet you all tomorrow night. I took the day off work today to pack, get the dogs their dogsitters, and close up the house. I am still so hypped up from yesterday and didn't sleep very well. We are leaving for the airport at about 4;30 in the am to catch our flight and should be arriving at Ohare about 12:45 pm (have a layover in Mrytle Beach) . We are staying at the Super 8 and that is about 3/10 of a mile from the Ramada so if the weather is nice, we are going to take a nice stroll there. We are planning on getting there early because I won't be able to contain myself sitting around waiting to meet everyone. For those who are waiting for their call today, it will come.

I hope everyone has a safe trip to Great Lakes. For those driving, be careful and stay alert. Stop and rest if you get tired. 2 MORE DAYS!!!!

To all of you safe travels. About what to wear, I plan to dress casual for everything - that's the way I feel most comfortable and it is acceptable even at PIR. I have heard from a local navy dad that has been to PIR that you walk a long distant and sit in bleachers.
