wow Gloria, this was so great.. I read it to the girls in the office. Once again, what would we do without each other, sharing information with the group. Thanks so much. God bless our recruits.. My son is amongst the best of the best!!! Hoorah!

Gloria, that is such wonderful news! I had goosebumps as I was reading it and am so proud of all of them.

I got a letter today. My son still sounds so excited about everything they are doing. He said hell week went good and they earned all 3 flags allowed. He said the RDC says this is the best group she's ever had. She told them she has usually sent home about 10 people by now for behavior but this time she has sent home no one. They are scoring better than any of her previous divisions. So thanks to all of you moms of div 192 for raising such a good group of recruits. And you wives, you are so lucky to have these recruits. I prayed God would put great people around Joshua and He has done so.

Did any one receive letters today?
I'm curious to see how everyone's recruits are holding up.
Hopefully well, of course. =) Keep us updated!

Hi Ladies, Just another Mom here to help out. My Son had PIR on 3/19. It was the most exciting day next to having him.

my3sons (Ship 14 Div 193), You said it when you said how nice the Ramada is. I agree. The Meet and Greet was so much fun and it met so much for us to be able to meet each other. The Ramada will put on food and drink tickets for those staying there. Others have to get own drinks but food is free. Kids can be in lounge until 10 pm or as the Sailors say 2200.
One of the Moms made up different colored little ribbons with each Div. number on them so we could find who was in our Div. plus we asked the hotel to call each Div. up on stage for a group picture. If you can you want to make it.

I've read that its common for them to get sick a lot during bc. Most of them aren't used to living in such close quarters in such big numbers for long periods. Perry's been sick twice now as well. They're definitely taking it seriously though and giving them LLD when necessary so at least they aren't overworking them while they're sick!

I have a voicemail from Perry when he first arrived at the airport and I've played it countless times since he left. I'm with you momof5. Its definitely hard thinking that call is coming and then coming down to the minutes before and after the call and your heart sinking. But, we are so close. I'm going to hug him SO hard when I see him. I may not let go all weekend. :)

Goria, oh no!! my son just got rid of pink eye from both eyes. He has a history of catching everything... I'll pray for everyone. Does anyone know what they are all sick from? :-(

I'm trying not to pout about the "no phone call" issue and focus on tomorrow's letter, but it's difficult when you think you only have to wait 2 weeks, 1 week, days, hours for it only to not get it. I guess I'll have to replay the voicemail message he left to hear his voice.

I'm confused, too, now. Is the meet-'n-greet Thursday? I've only gotten two letters (besides the first form letter), one on Wednesday, one on Thursday. So far, no other phone calls than the one on the 19th. I'm excited about PIR and I'm trying to stick with the approach that no news is good news. :)

I'm looking forward to letter today. Hope he sounds better than he did on the phone. He was coughing something awful on Thursday. He said the whole division is sick. I've been praying they are getting over whatever was wrong. I look forward to hearing any reports from your letters about what they are doing now.

Anyone staying at the Navy Lodge? It is $65(no taxes) a night, two queen bed and a kitchen? It is only a mile from the base. That is where we are staying.
