Congratulations jamierl16! What a wonderful surprise. I wish I could meet up with you all on Thursday, the 20th, but we are not getting in until late in the evening.

I asked my son if there was a reason for getting a call. He had no idea. Seems like they try to keep them in the dark. When I told him the 21st was a Friday, he was surprised like they don't know what day is what. He did say next week was fire training and the gas chamber is most likely next Friday. Battlestations he thought would start at 8pm on Thursday the 13th and go all night? He didn't seem positive about much. He said he gets letters in big bunches. I don't think he had gotten mine from a week ago. He had been sick. His voice still sounded off but he said he was feeling better. It was good to hear from him. He is counting down the days as we are. Only 2 1/2 weeks to go....

Congrats lovemysailor. I am hoping that since 192 is just finishing Hell Week, they may get to call sooner than Monday. My phone will be glued to me all weekend.

Hi Mom of five :) I'm also a mom of five. It seems we get the same kind of letters :) My son pretty much says things are going good and sounded positive but no real details. Thank you all for sharing info. Its really nice to hear how they are helping one another and to hear about whats coming up. It will be nice to be able to chat in person at the meet and greet. Have a great day everyone!
