tammysue--I'm thinking maybe I should have joined and l, too, could lose some inches. :) I'm just so glad to hear how good she sounds. And it was actually 35 minutes we talked. Those recruits are going to look so good at PIR!

No, they haven't taken pics and when I asked Savannah about PIR, she said they are even' allowed to discuss it yet, because they still have a lot to do. She said their morning routine includes jumping jacks, and if you haven't done jumping jacks while wearing steel-toed boots, you haven't really done jumping jacks. And when she had her second fitting for her dress whites, she's lost an inch in each of her measurements, so they'll have to alter everything. And she got her BC glasses. :) We talked for 3 minutes, and she had so much to say!

I got the call!! I was in a meeting with a client and before we started I explained that I was waiting for my daughter's call from boot camp and if I got it, I would have to temporarily excuse myself. They understood, and 10 minutes into the meeting, she called. She sounds so good, positive and focused. She will have a job at PIR. Calling out commands for her division, I believe. She had so much to say I don't think I can remember it all.

OMG got the call at work....... I was bursting out of my skin....... what a rush..... Rob said the division is in first place and now has the honor of also carrying the Redcocks division's flag. He said it's a naval air division's flag... he was so proud about it. We talked for about 12 minutes then he tried calling his dad, his brothers cells. Unfortunately none of his brothers answered their phones. 2 were in classes and Michael was playing lacrosse. what a shame, but at least they know he tried to reach them. Rob then called me a 2nd time for only a couple of minutes. God how I needed to hear his voice. I always could tell by his voice if something was wrong. I got a positive feeling. Well he did say he had a serious case of pink eye. But otherwise he's fine. Glad to hear some of you gals got calls too...... they haven't had pics taken yet.

I got my call tonight, too. Think we talked about 35-40 minutes. He said he is doing good and is having fun. He enjoys the PT. The food is good. He only complained that he is tired and that some in the division need to learn when to be quiet.

Mikesproudmom, Ship 14 Div 190 had calling privileges last Wednesday. Maybe Mike was on watch when the calling was allowed. If that is the case, they will give him a make-up time to call so keep your phone close!
