Hi Beatrizm, still no phone call. Hope it comes soon. Received our first real letter last Thursday. Hope to get one tomorrow. Rob's been at BC 3 weeks today. Div 190 seems to have been able to make calls now, so hopefully our calls aren't too far away.

Congrats to everyone on their letters and calls, and mikesproudmom on your anniversary!!! And sailormoesgirl, thanks for the info on why Div 189 don't get calls. It really would be nice to hear some positive stuff about his division! I got a letter two weeks ago, but none since, and would LOVE to hear something other than how tough it is :(

Soon, hopefully! Only 36 more days! :)

mikeproudmom, what a great way to spend your anniversary. I'm very impressed on the no tears for the recruiter, I've seen Brandon's twice since he left and I've teared up both times.

Letter today from Jace. He said they had lost a few guys due to medical and a few more "screw ups" as he put it. Maybe that's why no calls. He sounds like he's doing ok. Says the APO is an ok job. Said he's going to have to send some of my letters back home. I guess they only have a very small area to keep personal things. Sent him a vanilla envelope to send them all back in.

My son would not know what say for a full :) I got a call and a letter today. He did say he has sent a few so I should expect some more. Sounds like they are surviving but anxious for news from home. They finally delivered letters that we sent. He got 9 at once. So it is good they are getting them. I love how they make they end the phone call by screaming "time's up".

mikesproudmom...congratulations on 26 years and a nice long letter

My daughter had her out last year, but I think they try to get those out early. If you let them go, they can be more difficult to remove> I know first hand from mine.

Jess's Mom...that's so good to hear; I've been trying to stay upbeat and excited for her about her new adventure, and I'm okay so far. But you know moms worry and now I'm just getting anxious to hear from her. But she did sound good in her comments on the official letter. Said she never thought she would break a sweat making a bed, but that it's not too bad and she keeps telling herself, "2 months, 2 months."

If it doesn't come, it may be because he is on watch duty. A friend of mine has a boyfriend in DIV 177 and his division got a phone call the other week, but she didn't get one. Come to find out his missed the privilege to call because of watch duty. I hope you do end up getting one today though mikesproudmom! And Happy 26th Wedding Anniversary!! =) I'm glad you got a great letter too
