Hello ladies!  Mink, I love the pictures!  I think I didn't look nearly as rattled as I felt and you were all so beautiful and fantastic!

Okay, yenni and gnome, which of you has a hubby in 175?  That is the one my boy is in too!  Woohoo!!!

I'm still averaging checking in about once a day.  I'm so happy that we are still checking in.  As long as there is action here, I will keep coming back.  :)

I'm so happy to read posts that bring back the memories of graduation.  I just can't get over the huge emotional high from it.  And it is so awesome to have you all to share it with me.

Sammy, my son was telling me more things that the RDC's were talking about from our page.  Hey Reign, remember when we were talking about mowing the lawns?  Apparently the RDC's were telling my SR all about his 80-year-old grandpa mowing the lawn twice a week.  He finally figured out that they were getting the info from here.

Well, this will be my first night back in my own bed.  Hooray!  Nite all.

P.S. My dancer's boy's birthday is today.  17.  Woohoo!  :)

so sad i didnt get to meet any of you at Graduation. I was riding along with my mother in law and she is late to just about everything so we didnt make it there until it was just about to start. I will still check in every now and then to see how everyone is doing. Hope we all stay in touch. Thanks for all of the support from everyone throughout the  boot camp experience. This page made the whole experience a lot more tolerable! My husband said that the RDC's defiantly did check up on this webpage and mentioned things several times from it. They got in trouble a few times ! lol

just dropped in for a few minutes to say hello to everyone.  Got home from work after 14 hours and am making a cake for tomorrow for a picnic we are having for our customers so I have a few minutes while the cake bakes and before my husband gets home.  Hope all your Sailors are doing well and everyone here is relaxing after the stress of the last couple of months.  Take care.

It's been 5 days since graduation and I haven't been able to get back to N4M until now.  Graduation was amazing!!  When the doors rolled up, tears filled my eyes and seeing my Sailor's division march in was blurred through my tears. I had to look at the pictures I took with my phone. LOL!!

I'm sad that I wasn't able to meet any of you at the meet & greet. The timing was off for my family that was flying in on Thursday.

Let me know if you need any help with hotels...I did some research the past few days (ok, hours of research). Also, I found out that because our Sailors are students, they can't book at the Navy Lodge on base...and the military "discount" rate at some hotels ends up being much more expensive, so use your AAA card if you have one, or book through travelocity or priceline to save some money...well, actually, if you don't need anything but the hotel, just book through their site directly. :)

They're booking up because it's the fourth of July weekend, but most hotels I called still had vacancies. I went with one of the cheapest options (under $50/night) because I'm poor right now. :) If I could afford to stay on the Riverwalk, I would, but some hotels charge extra for parking down there. I think my first choice probably would've been the Econo Lodge near the base, which was around $80/night and got good reviews. You could try to wing it and go on priceline.com a few days before you need the room, but I'm too much of a planner for that!

Yay, Gnomes! WAs is hard to get a hotel? I think I should start working on it...
