sorry bllz   typed your name wrong......

Blitz - no worries - we all totally understand!!!!!!    I still have the box in my room so I can look at his handwriting..........

We have a small house so when Gerald left my other kids split up rooms so I lost the option of having his room to look at and sit in so his box is my only option!!!!

So good to hear from all of you - the same feelings I have - when I got his box last week- the poor Fed Ex driver got hugged and I cried - he was touched - fortunately I knew him from a previous job so it wasn't quite so weird that I hugged him......

I got his letter 3 days later so it was a hard three days of waiting - but I have decided as others that it is the good part is - no news is good news - but yet that is soooo hard

I also agree with the others that it is difficult to know what to tell them while they are away!!

Thanks so much for starting this group - will keep me going for the next several weeks -

who has a child going to A school in Pensacola???

Have a great day!

I got my son's form letter today, indicating that his PIR will be on 6/10. He went to BC on 4/12 and is in Ship 11, Div 195.

Hi everyone, my son shipped on April 13th.  So I am new to all of this, I am thinking his PIR will be on the 10th of June but haven't received the form letter yet.  All I know for sure is I miss him tremendously!!

I agree with you here4kids..I think for my husband and me theres gonna be a fine line - because I don't want to go on about much we miss him and how our 2 yr old son is starting to have tantrums because I think he's clueing into the fact that Daddys been gone a while..but I also don't want to go on and on about everything we're doing because I don't want my husband to be depressed about missing out on stuff with my son! I'm just writing each day that we love him and are proud of him & usually tell a funny story about what our son did that day - I hope it at least makes him smile!
