Good morning!  On my way to airport.  Two hour drive on two hours sleep.  Glad to see I'm not the only one with sleeping issues.

So thankful for everyone on here who is going through this amazing journey also.  Makes it all bearable.

I can't wait to meet you all.  Up at 2:30 am PST to head to the airport.

I heard about the Ramada smell.  I packed a few blue scented candles.  A little scent and extra prayer never heart anyone.

My dogs are going nuts.  They know something is up.   I am going to take some Benedryl.  If I did not,  I would not get nay sleep tonight.

Well ladies checked in in Canton, OH. OMG ladies!! I am travelling with FOUR men.. Supposedly 5 but didn't happen... Whew... imagine traveling with MEN I thought women were bad...turns out they are worse than us LOL... I had to sit back in the 3rd row of the SUV watching them... Its funny I just married into this family a year ago can ya all figure why we are here?? Of course FOOTBALL Hall of Fame... I came up with splendid idea on the road trip.. I said to myself... Girl.. You need ME time!!! Ok here's my plan.. I'm gonna whisk the boys to HOF and off to the SPA I go! LOL... Smart plan eh?

Naturally when I checked in my hotel the first thing I did was connect to wifi to check N4M... How cool is that? I started cracking up at girlsyk's comments I truly needed that good laugh after the MALE drama... Thanks ladies. really it's no biggie.. Sometimes I even forget I can't hear... People have told me I am blessed LOL... My poor husband has to nudge me sometimes in the hearing world to "let them know" that I am deaf (laughs) sometimes we go into a restaurant and I just start ordering by opening the frigging menu and look at the waitress sweetly and point the order with my fingers. How simple is that? Sometimes after the waitress leaves my hubby would say that poor girl was starled u were deaf. (laughs) I love that. It drives him insane. He "thinks" we should point to our ears first and say we r deaf... Ohh of course, I'll eventually let ppl know... I am just being ME... That's who I am. I don't look at my Deafness as a disability .. I was born in this world as ME. I'll go out in glory as ME!!! Nothing wrong with that ladies... Right eh?

The Navy is wonderful!! The day got the form letter I contacted public affairs office and requested ASL interpreter... Ohhh my wish was granted!!! They are gonna provide an interpreter for PIR. How cool is that!!!

You probably noticed I use the term sson naturally I am a SMom... Figure it out yet?? LOL step son!! Step mom!! Cool lingo eh?

Looking forward to meet you all and connect the names to the faces. Don't laugh if I call ya by N4M name lol.... I'm only human... Thanks ya all for your comments! I am gonna make the boys leave Canton, Ohio at NOON so I can meet my N4M family at MG!! Travel safe...

Til we meet...... HooYah and Bravo Zulu to your sailors!!!!

Girls- I can't wait to meet you  cuz we sound way too much alike.  I'm sure I'll have a few comic moments of my own. They seem to follow me.  Oh- and I leave at 5am and I'm still awake cuz I'm not packed. What is my problem?????

Also, I'll pop on and off when I get in, so anyone feel free to pm me if you need my phone number for one reason or another!!

Hey ladies!! I don't have time to read the past few pages, but am so excited for all of us and our SAILORS. This seems so surreal...it's almost Friday! I'm flying out to Chicago tomorrow. See you at Meet and Greet...TOMORROW! YAY!! :)

Hope you guys are able to sleep...hopefully I'll be able to!

Oh...and if anyone has a pair of men's size 9.5 flip flops I can borrow for my SR...that'd be awesome...haha. I have NO idea where his are! I don't have time to run to a store...well. Maybe in the morning, I guess. I guess I'll see. Anyway...

HAHA Girlsyk...you are too much! Are you sure it really WAS psuedephrine...?!?! You sound like me, with a mini pharmacy with you at most times. ;) love love love your stories! I'm sure I'll have a few driving faux pas...although Northern VA, Southern MD, DC, and Orlando have prepped me pretty well...it's a new place and that's always interesting! Not taking my laptop with me since I'm taking my SR's, so I'll have limited access via my phone...message me if there's anything important or need my phone number or something like that. :)

HUGS!
