For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Congratulations to all the new Sailors and good luck to them all on their new adventures.
Everyone you're/we're not crazy. I had to call the police on a truely crazy person who was in my store today. We were just a little anxious.
I'm going to have to admit I'm having a little trouble getting into the Navy lingo. I don't know why but Bravo Zulu and Hooyah just bother me. I'll work at getting used to it. Gotta go mow,pack, dishes, and take out the trash so we can be on the road first thing in the morning. Hope to meet some of you.

Finally received a phone call from our son ship 09 div 201!! So excited we will be flying out at 7am tomorrow!! Still has not received his orders as when he will leave for A-school in Pensacola, Fl!!

Hey Ladies... Thought I should give ya all heads up before I show up at Meet and Greet.. That's if I get there in time.. Wanted u ladies to know I am Deaf.. I didn't announce it before becuz I didn't think it was a big deal.. But my husband.. Bless him.. Wanted me to give the heads up LOL.

Well, though my nerves are calmed by knowing we ahve new Sailors, I still can't sit still. I know I should be resting cause we have to leave in the middle of the night to catch flight, but am still on overdrive lol.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE NEW SAILORS!
I am so so excited, i just got tucked up in bed ready to fly out in the morning! its 1130pm here! I JUST finished packing! So unreorganized this trip i let myself down. I hope all you ladies will still be at meet & greet when i finally get to the hotel. NOT looking forward to this 12 hour flight.. BUT it's all worth it! HOOYAH PIR 06/10. WE MADE IT !! xx
