I have a Sailor and an award winner....so proud of him. Now I can focus on my trip to Chicago. Leaving early in the morning.
HELLO LADIES!!!!!! Just so you know, I am writing from the airplane. I am the biggest cheapskate ever, but I spent the $5 to get wifi up here because I couldn't stand it. I think I am an addict. All the way to the airport I was thinking about how close we all are to meeting and I am so excited.
It has been so fun catching up and watching the anticipation mount through the pages. CONGRATULATIONS! WOOHOO!! I still don't see that teach got her call yet. I think if it doesn't show up when I hit enter for this post I am going to bust!!!!
Gnome, you sound fabulous! You must be feeling better! Yippee!
Parrot and Freebird, I don't think anyone on here (well except teach maybe, ha ha) can be more excited and relieved than you both. Woohoo!!!!
To all who have posted that you are not on here much. I'm so glad that you all are a part of this great thing. What would we have done without this site? Parish the thought!!!!!
THEY MADE IT!!! WE MADE IT!!!!!
I am on a plane with my 11-yr-old (first time flying and very excited) on my way to CHICAGO!
Chicago, Chicago, that toddlin' town
Chicago, Chicago, I will show you around, I love it
Bet your bottom dollar you'll lose the blues in Chicago
Chicago, the town that Billy Sunday couldn't shut down
On State Street, that great street, I just want to say
They do things they don't do on Broadway
They have the time, the time of their life
I saw a man, he danced with his wife
In Chicago, Chicago, my home town
Chicago, Chicago, that toddlin' town
Chicago, Chicago, I'll show you around, I love it
Bet your bottom dollar you'll lose the blues in Chicago
Chicago, the town that Billy Sunday could not shut down
On State Street, that great street, I just want to say
They do things that they never do on Broadway, hey
They have the time, the time of their life
I saw a man, and he danced with his wife
In Chicago, Chicago, Chicago, that's my home town
