I didn't hear from my SR any word on her A school orders. She'll be going to corpsman training. Her recruiter told her she'd go to GL (even though a few weeks before she left, he told her it might be…Continue

Hi all, I thought I'd start a discussion for those of us with SRs who will be heading to Charleston, SC together for the NUKE program so we can stay together through that as well!

Asking for prayers for Grace again please! She has been confronted with a very difficult legal situation with her daughter Chloe! Please pray that this is resolved for the best of everyone concerned and pray God's will be done! This is not an “unspoken” prayer request I’m not a fan of those. But it’s a long story and I’m tired!
Happy Thursday 20 days since one of the greatest days of our lives!!! :)
girlsyk - Just think bald average weight Itailan/Polish. He won't mind being a surrogate. Because of our schedules he has a grouip of friends he hangs out with when I'm training or working. Several of them are single females. I tease him about his harem.
This sounds kind of like we have an open marriage, but everyone knows the boundaries and are not willing to face the repercussions so it works.
Wow! Ilove to see so many people checking back. It reminds me of 'the old days' lol.
Reign- Wow! Congratulations. I am truly impressed.
Here4- I can't stop smiling, and I'm so glad you're back.. I've missed you. I'm also glad to hear your insight on school. My dot has got the brains if she'd apply herself. In high school she had NO motivation, and is now nervous about studying in Navy. She is way out of practice! lol Hopefully she'll get it all back.
Girls-- Gosh sweetie. You know, as much as I complain about my husband's habits, after 23 yrs. -though not exactly the same in passion- I love him so much. I pray for you to find your partner. You will. You are such a beautiful woman with a love of life that is infectious. The man who catches you will be a lucky man.
Ha ha Reignbow, if only I knew what your husband looked like then I could try it. :) Being single is rough sometimes. :(
Congrats on your great accomplishment. That takes such discipline.
Mak, good to see you back! Tell your sailor Happy B-Day!
Mari, thanks for the post today. :)
Barra, I'm hoping that my son who also hated studying in school will catch the vision and pour himself into his A school. They haven't started classes yet that I know of anyway. He is such an independent soul. I have to know what questions to ask or I don't get any information. :)
Here4, love your posts. Keep em coming. :)
Just checking and and glad to hear everyone is doing well. It is nice to see what everyone is up to. Picking my sailor up Friday night in Knoxville for a weekend at the lake, then back home and he ships out to San Diego in 7/12, his 20th bday!
My son says he has to study quite a bit in IT school. This is the kid who dropped out of college after 3 years because he hated to study. He did say that it is interesting. My son was a fire science major in college but has always loved computers. My husband has his degree in CS and was in on the ground floor or the silicon valley. Our other son switched from bio-chem to computer science in college. All of the wanted to avoid the family business but eventually on their own came back around to it. Daughter wants to be a FBI agent.
I went shopping with my daughter today to buy stuff for her dorm room. It was a rather bittersweet day. She leaves on Friday and will be home for a week before moving to LA for college. Sailor son wanted a new pillow so he got in on the house ware shopping too. I am looking forward to seeing his new space at Pensacola.
