here4 - good luck with computer networking. I was part of computer networking in the private sector in its infancy. It was a good career and has lots of potential.
girlsky01-Even though my husband and I sleep under the same roof our schedules are somewhat off so we don't actually spend that much time together. I have times when I feel lonely too, btw we've been married 25.5 years. Perhaps because we've been married so long when he is gone or I'm traveling I close my eyes and visualize him giving me a hug. Usually it feels like he is actually there hugging me. Give it a try.
On a personal note. I've been training in Karate for 8 years. My son the Sailor is how I got started. With him leaving for bootcamp I've been unfocused in my training. After PIR I started practicing more and regained some focus. Last Thursday night I tested in front of 20 highly skilled black belts and found out tonight that I earned my 2nd degree black belt. I won't be eligible to test again for 3 years which is fine with me because I'm getting too old for this. My Sailor will get to test in a few weeks for his 3rd degree black belt. Since he missed the official testing and the most of the black belts that make the decision are ex-Marine I'm sure he'll think he's back in BC. He is actually looking forward to the abuse.
What a great pic Here4! Now, what is next for her again?? Didn't you say she was going to be a diver? I thought you said something about that once... Is she still in GL?
So so happy for you
