For those of you that are driving to PIR.  The midwest is expected to have major flooding starting in the next 7 - 10 days.  Some interestates in my area may be closed due to the flooding.  Please check for road closures before you leave to help you plan accordingly.

Hi there! I need a favor. My boyfriend is graduating on 7/01 but he is in the choir. That means he will be preforming in the choir at this PIR also. Could someone please try and take some extra pictures of the choir and post them or email them somehow? Message me/profile post/post here if you will and I will give you my email. I asked once before but just figured one more couldn't hurt, a lot of people in my group would really appreciate it! thank you so much!

MJ- I sent my SR a medal while at BC. She said she hooked it to her dog tags. They have no problems.with that.

Dianne, we are threatening flooding here.  We went to see the boat docks where my parents live and the water has lifted the docks above the cement wall they are attached to and is about 5 feet up the grass.  Everything here is so high.  We finally have a nice day here today.  I think we are in the 80's.  Woohoo!  Last I heard our water table was at 130%.  Last time the water was this high was 1997.

Megs, he is on a ballroom dance team.  :)  He has been dancing since 5th grade and absolutely loves it.  Too bad the Navy doesn't have a dance team like they have band and choir.  :)

Where does one find the bs schedule? Suppose there could be a typo? My SR'S gf said that he told her when it is for his DIV,201 but she doesn't remember! Grrrrr
girlsyk-that shake place was b4 my time in the magic valley, I grew up in the upper mid west. Its ben a while since I've been there too.its flooding there and by looking at ariel pics my home has really changed-there are homes where I used to hang out on the sand bars on the Missouri, and they are getting flooded badly.I'm sure everyone there would be more than happy to send all that water to Florida. . .and Texas.

Hey ladies, a few questions. Going along with the TSA questions, does anyone know anything about traveling with baked goods? I feel so silly asking that. I want to bake my SR cookies but I don't know if I can pack them in my checked luggage or what. Also, I bought my SR a St. Christopher's pendant...I was wondering what size chain to get for it to go on. How long are the dog tags? Or could he just put it on the chain with those? Anyone have any idea?
