Angie - I know it is dissapointing your fiancee was moved back to 7/1 PIR. I know it stings. THat just means they have an area they want to work with him and make him the best Sailor he can be. Dont let him get his dobber down. When he graduates on 7/1 he is still going to be so proud and even better than when he went in. I will say prayers you can get his address soon and hopefully be able to talk to him. I will keep you and him in my prayers as well..

CW: Write that book if you have too... : ) We will all read it and give you all the love and support we need to.. Mama's are the nurturing ones and I can hear all of us at our computer reading your post saying.. OHHHHH as the disppointment for his situation hurt us all. He sounds like a tough man that is going to fit in well with his new DIV.

See! What did I tell you... I can't seem to post without writing a whole book!

You gals are SO wonderful. I want to list all of you to thank specifically but I already tend to write books instead of posts so I better refrain from naming names. Your encouragement to me and prayers and telling your recruits to welcome 'warner' helps much. I got teary reading all your replies of understanding and encouragement. It's the understanding of how another is feeling, being able to put yourself in their place that makes you all so wonderful.
Jenn, thanks for asking your boyfriend to look Warner up. And I'm glad to hear it is a great division.
DebbieT, - I really don't know how they test for ADD. He was 'diagnosed' as having it when he was in grade school but I don't know that they really had a 'test' for it even then. Seemed to me it was more like, "here try this medicine and if it helps he has ADD, if it doesn't then he doesn't have it." The meds did help, Colton could tell they helped, but he didn't like the way they made him feel. He was not ADHD (with the hyperactivity part) so he only took the meds during school time and only for maybe 2 school years. Nothing since at least 5th grade.. But at meps it did come up about the ADD because it was in his medical records I guess, and they 'tested' him for it but said he was fine, which he was REALLY glad about. And how many different tests do they have and if one says he's ok and one says hes not then how do they know which one is right?
About his knee.. he loves to snowboard and had taken a fall in like January. His knee would hurt on occasions, but nothing bad. And he told me he had been doing just fine in PT with no problems and it wasn't even hurting. Which makes me wonder how they even knew something was wrong. Maybe he is telling me a story when he said it wasn't even hurting! But today he said the MRI they did there at GL showed nothing was wrong. So he said he was trying to get an apt with Physical Therapy to see what they said. And he was hoping if they thought it was ok they would write him a letter saying it was ok, and then maybe he could get back into air rescue. But i kind of bet that is highly unlikely. Plus I don't know how if they continue to say he has ADD. I'm so confused and frustrated by this and then feeling bad for him too. But hearing you mom's saying guys r nice in div 226, your prayers, encouragement and support helps me a great deal. I wish Colton had all you moms there! He might think it was a little smothering.. but I would feel better if you were! :-)
