Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

annafornavy.I have been talking to this a girl a lot she is really nice her screen name on here is GFMIchele(Ship9Div223), she let me know her bofyriend got a call yesterday morning which gives me hope to be getting a call soon... maybe you can ask her if seh knew if his whole division got one she is really helpful and sweet maybe she could let you know Maybe your son was on watch or a certain duty?

Some of them got calls yestrday morning of course not my lofe but I believe some from div. 223 got to make a phone call. Well Michelle got a phone call and she had let me know, so hopefully we all get calls asap!

SumiKO: Oh my goodness dear I think you have it worse than I do.. 5 days to endure the madness of missing... Bless your heart.. I am glad you get a repreive on the weekends... I think when we start getting letters and calls we will be much better... I heard calls are normally made from Thur - Sun but as we know it could happen at anytime... Just look for the 847 area code and that will be our HONEY BUNCHES.... : )

I hope for a letter today also... all of you who live clsoe are so lucky... Canada is a bit differnt i hope to gett mine by friday or monday.. but maybe a call will come.. i heard some people got there calls already so hopefully mine gets his soon! annafornavy- my week is just the opposite..i have a really hard time during the week, i'm a stay at home mom. the weekends go by so fast because i have so much to do with my family being around.
WOW.. 38 more days..that makes it sound sooo close!!
i read that and had to count it for myself and make sure i wasnt in the regular bootcamp forum. i thought i was dreaming for a second.

I feel the same way YIPEE!!! Only 38 more days. I was hoping for a letter today as well I only live about 3 hours away. I do everything I can to keep my mind busy but I still go right on thinking about Cory. What I am thankful for is all you you ladies out there. Reading what everyone has written keeps me going. So thanks to all of you!

I know what all of you are feeling ladies. I am starving for some news from my son. Thank God work is a distraction a tid bit for me but the weekends are so hard. I work in the yard alot but that aloows me to think about him and rememberinfg the times he was out there with me. I cant escape the madness.. LOL... 38 days YIPEEE!!!! That sounds so much better than a month... I cant wait until we all get letters and share with on another what our loved ones had to say.... I live 2 hours from chicago so I am hoping mine is waiting in my box today.. : ) But I hear their mail arrives Wed or Thur no matter how close you live...
