Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Happy 4th of July!!!! Thank you for all the help!! I'm still not POSITIVE where he'll be going for a-school but I have checked out all the links that have been applied to this page, and thank you for the info. :) We are down to the final days! thanks Debbie and Jae, it sounds like Wednesday is the day we get to hear from them. We'll be leaving for GL Wednesday afternoon. Hopefully the drive will be a good one. It's going to be awesome to see them. We'll be staying at the Navy Lodge. Wednesday will be a Great day!

Re posting so I can hopefully get some info on what I'm looking for- OK... So my sailor asked me if I could look up some info on the "A" school he will be attending after P.I.R....the problem is...I can't find anything. He's in as a sea bee and is going to school in Texas. I could REALLY use some help if anyone knows anything, or how to find out info. Thank you in advance : ) Hope everyone is having a great day!!!

Yackie1- Is there an a-school that starts with a w? I'm not POSITIVE where he will be going. He has told me but my brain gets all kinds of jumbled when I'm on the phone with him. So much to say so little time. The next time I talk to him (hopefully tomorrow) I'll ask again and write it down. Thank you for any help. This will be a journey well worth taking.
