Mike's Mom - definitely! I have to leave for work right after 10a central but if no one else posts it before I get back later in the day, I will do it. I'm not sure how we get their Navy picture...would also like to know...
Also - just looked at their FB page and found out the questions are from info on their whole site, not just the Family Guide. http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/
I got several letters from my daughter today. She seems in good spirits. She was cracking jokes. She was talking about having to carry her sea bag for a couple miles and she thought she was gonna die because it was so heavy. My child is very skinny the bag probably weighted more than her.
Thanks TaysMom :-)
Just posted this on FB for my friends, I don't know if all of you are aware that the Navy Recruit Training Command FB page does a trivia question on Tuesdays.
-----
If you have time tomorrow and are interested, get on the Naval Recruit Training Command FB page (https://www.facebook.com/NavyRecruitTrainingCommand) at 10a central for the trivia question - all questions are out of the Family Guide at: http://www1.netc.navy.mil/nstc/rtcgl/fam_guide.asp
First person to get it right -- you have to be super fast -- you can request a picture of your SRs division. Go 07/270!!
------
If you have time to do it, it would be awesome to see our SRs :-)
Cathy-I got your back when the police come, of course I might be busy because I may be standing guard at my own mail box today demanding a letter from my mail carrier. LOL
ProudwifeAD-gald to hear things are going well and there is communcation going, just a little slower on this end. At least we know they know we are thinking of them and praying for them.
I am glad letters are starting to pour in.
Cathy try not to worry. I am sure you will get a letters very soon. I think it depends where you live too as to what day you will get your letters. The families in my son division lived on the East Coast. I live out in Colorado. I would always get my letters a couple of days later than everyone else.
My son also knows I "hang out" on this site. He liked it too, before he left. He got some good info off it too.
So glad everyone's letters starting coming. NOW, we wait for the phone calls.
