I thought the Ramada Inn was great, They even have safes in the room, of course I opted for the business suite, more plush everything. only 83.00 a night.

Okay, those of you there this weekend (congrats! can't wait!) there is a lot of discussion about safety and the Ramada. Please let us know if you stayed there or attended the M&G there what your thoughts are. Thank you!

Allison, how did you get to spend the whole weekend with your sailor? Ryan has said he will have to be back on base by 9pm Fri & Sat. & 8pm on Sunday. We are all flying in from Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas & Louisiana & would really LOVE to have him the whole time.

For those still here, Flanagan's has a great country style breakfast that starts at 7 AM on Sat and Sun. Great buffet too. Waiting for my sailor to get off duty for the day.

So happy to be able to finally see my son, so proud I am bursting. I got so lucky, he is able to stay with us all weekend. He has to check in by phone twice a day, otherwise he is all ours. Thanks to Sobe, I told him to ask and he was one of the lucky ones. So sorry for all of you who had to say good bye yesterday. I know how hard that must have been. Congratulations and thanks to all of you who took this wonderful, nerve racking journey with me.

Time to start a new and exciting journey with our United States Sailors!!

Love to all my new N4M friends,

Alison

Good Morning Ladies. Graduation was amazing!!! I am so proud of my son! Congrats to all the Sailors! We ended up checking out last night and driving home. It was so hard dropping him off at the base at 8pm and knowing it will be another 6 weeks, I just wanted to be in my own bed last night. I just wanted to let you all know that you helped me so much with all the information and just the support from others going through the same thing made it a little easier on me. And for that ladies I am so very thankful!

Graduation was amazing and so special. Dropped Andrew off at the base 3 hrs ago after having him home for the afternoon. He got to enjoy his favorite Giordanos deep dish pizza and relax with the family. Will see him tomorrow and the airport as his flight to SC doesn't leave until 8 pm. So very proud of the Sailor he has become. Enjoyed meeting all of you at the meet and greet. Hope everyone had as great of a day as I did.

A very emotionally charged day! Roller coaster of emotions! How proud I am of my son! It was such a privilege to witness this ceremony today. I am honored to be this fine young man's mom. Tears tonight though. I had to say goodbye to him again.....as he is one of the many leaving out tonight on a chartered flight to Pensacola. I have a hard time with goodbyes. I am awesome with hellos. I miss my boy but am very proud and excited for him and his new life. Congrats to all of our new sailors! Good job, Navy Moms!
