Hi everyone,
Can't you feel the excitement in the air, the adrenaline is running and we don't even need coffee, or chocolate, may need that Saturday morning though! I got a letter from my Callie, she was so upbeat, she gave me an update of this past week, Mon. Gas Chamber, Tues. & Wed. Firefighting, Thur.? and Fri. a big Test. BS21 is supposed to be this coming Mon. & Tues., so all you moms/families keep these young men and women in your prayers. See everyone at the meet and greet.

Ann...817 is wearing red. I can't wait...it is getting so close.

Has anyone heard when Div 817 is leaving for A school? Back on the 3rd when we received his call he thought he would not be leaving until Tues. or Wed. Does that sound right?

The Prayer below was posted by Missy in PIR 7/23. It's obviously written by a wife or GF, but it works for any of us. This is the best one I've heard in a long time. Prayers out and candles lit for those last divisions doing BS-21 tonight - they graduate on Friday.

Dear Lord, give me the greatness of heart to see
The difference between duty and his love for me.
Give me understanding so that I may know
That when duty calls he must go.
Give me a task to do each day
to fill the time he is away.
And, Lord, when he goes out to sea
Bring him safely home to me

Any one sure of the date for BS 21 for div 260? I thought my son said next Thursday but wasn't sure.

Is Div 4 Ship 817 wearing any particular color? What about these ribbons you all are talking about? I'm not sure how they work..... I just discovered this site cannot wait for the next 9 days to pass!!

Grad & Go bus times:
We made a joke in our PIR group about who would have the worst "bed hair" if we had to be at the airport at 2am to see our sailors off!!! We got rather graffic and had some fun with it. But yes, "most" of the time, the buses end up leaving the base at 5am and they arrive at whatever airport they are flying out of about an hour later. But need to warn you, there was a recent PIR group who were told the bus would leave at 2 am and it was 2 am. Be ready to wing it and just bring your hairbrush and make-up with you to the airport. Nobody looked at us all day, they just kept smiling at our sailor in his awesome Dress Whites and kept shaking his hand all day - and thanking him for his service - it made me cry (see... that's why you forget the mascara!)

Sobe - That's what everyone tells me; given the choice, he'd rather call girlfriend! I guess I need to start thinking like a 23 yr. old guy instead of a middle-aged mom!

juliesiouxcity, any chance you can make me 2 ribbons? Last name Morgan, Div 254. How much $$ do you need for them? Let me know! Thank you soooo much!!

Also - it seems weird but, even though two people are going to the same A-School and have the same rate (job), it doesn't mean that they are both automatically G&G's. Or that one is and one isn't. The Navy has a reason they do the things they do - and if anyone ever figures it out, that will be a day I look forward to seeing!!!
