I think it would be great to have a place to post requests, answers, or just general prayers for Class 281 or any pre-bud family. Everyone is Welcome!

Got it!     What a relief.  It was an even bigger relief to get a phone call last night.  My son said  "I'm Done"  SQT is over.   They (the 1/2 of the class that was doing hand to hand combat or cqd stuff this week) got today and Monday off to relax.  They have Navy education classes next week, filling the time for them.   I don't know how to feel.  Kind of in shock, really.  Proud, of course, Scared of the future, of course, but kinda numb.  Relief big time.  Happy for him to have accomplished his goal.  trying to stay in the present moment.  Remembering the other half of 281 that is in SERE this week.  Prayers continued,  Thanksgiving Prayers started!  wow.  hugs.

Hey moms (and others), I hope you all find a group to join after graduation.  There are plenty of other types of group...geographical, special interest, etc. on Navy for Moms  I'm thinking that after your guys start doing what they do you'll still need support.  You don't have to say what your sailor does.  Just my 2 cents.

I think it would be neat if we could keep up this site for a little while and see what teams the men get put on, and how language school goes, moving some of our men to the east coast.  I'm sure our guys will get spread out as the rookies on alot of different teams after language school, but  we have a lot to still talk about. !!!!!!!on the SEALS page all they are talking about is prebuds and boot camp now.  I hope this group's site stays somewhat active and we can see where everyone ends up, and have those who have been rolled still come and tell us what is going on with their sons in later classes.  I want to know!

I wonder if people go to private email after this?  I think the chances of our guys being on the same Seal Team is slim?  Grandpa, do you know if that is true?

Question:   Will we still be connected on this group title after graduation?  I looked under Seal mom's groups and they are all talking about men in the current pre-buds and boot camp.  are we done on navy for mom's after grad?

correction from my last post:     1/2 of class 281 just finished SERE, and start CQD close quarter defense on Monday for the next 2 weeks.  The other half starts 2 weeks of SERE Monday.  Then a week of Administration and then graduation.   That is my understanding, anyway.  No invites arrived yet for us!  I'm still checking daily!
