Hi everyone I am new to this group. I tried to browse through quickly to catch up on everyone of you guys. Congrats to everyone of you for being a Proud Navy Girlfrend/Fiance. I really think we put in more time than the actual wives. Lol. (: My SR is currently in BC. His PIR is this upcoming Friday. And I havent heard from him in a whole week. Not long but it feels like FOREVER. I did recieve a letter from him last wednesday. I miss him so much. But I hold together for our son and with high hopes that we will be together very soon. After BC he will be attending A school in FL. Im not sure where though. Cant wait to fnd out. I would so love to move there to be closer to him.

Yeah & even without the misunderstandings & miscommunication, it's hard to feel like you're still connected without even just hearing each other's voices! It's the only real, personal contact that we're able to have-texting is so impersonal! I know you can make it to December... It's tough but you find ways for the one you love :)

yah I hate when its like a week of just texting because calls are so much better and you dont have trouble with like misunderstandings with texts and tone and everything. I just cant wait until he comes home for a few days around christmas time so I can finally see him! It has been 6 months too long and 3 long more staring us down!

You're welcome... I know exactly what you mean I'm usually the kind of person to let things go until they build up, and usually my fiance knows when something is bothering me & can get it out of me before it gets to a point where it becomes a huge fight... But only being able to talk on the phone, and sometimes only text, it has been really hard for me too so I've really had to learn to talk to him before it becomes a problem. And after I tell him he's really aware & we both work on it NOT becoming a problem!

Thanks abuon, that really helps and yah when we dont talk much everything seems to build up even the silly little things and then it becomes like a big mess which isnt fair to either of us.
Comment by abuon18 on September 25, 2011 at 1:36pm
Well I don't know about you but its really hard for me to hide my feelings, especially now that we're apart & don't get to talk every day, when I'm upset it has time to build. So when I know that something is starting to upset me I try to talk to him about it & let him know before it becomes a fight. Let him know that you know & understand that you both have crazy busy schedules, but that you're feeling a little frustrated/upset/angry/whatever you're feeling & that you don't want it to become a big problem so that's why you're telling him now.
