Thanks yall!! :) Got my call from Joe today... I am going to post what I posted on FB/sent his mom as kind of a summary--This is an email reply with what I sent her below:

His mom said: Thanks for sending this. I don't seem to have easy access to face book. It was great to talk to Joe and I'm thrilled he was so up-beat! I absolutely cannot wait until the PIR.

From me to my future MIL: INFO!!!!!

The note I posted on FB:
Just got a phone call from Joe WOO HOO!! LOL Never thought I'd be so excited about a phone call and yet, I am! He sounded great – but ready for boot camp to be over. I didn’t get to talk to him long (9min) because I got the first call so he called him mom and Jake first this time. Battle stations *should* be on October 25. They still have some academic exams coming up in the next week---test #2 is on the 12th and #3 on the 22nd.
I found out from a wife of a recruit in Joe’s division that: “They are doing great. I guess they did really well in hell week, they got four flags and have the potential to get another tomorrow (the most you can get in 5). It sounded like a really big deal. Guess they finally pulled it together. Hooray...lol! He did say the entire division is grad and go. He mentioned a few names with moms/gf's on N4M's. Charity, he said your husband is really funny and enjoys hanging out with him. He said it felt like a lot of people were getting ASMOed but if they haven't by now they are basically safe.”

I messaged the wife:
> That's not cool about the whole grad and go thing. Is he (your husband) sure it’s the whole division?

Then she said:

Yes, I was upset about the grad and go thing when he told me a few weeks ago. It is what is it; I've learned to just go with the flow with the Navy...things can change and it's not like getting upset makes much of a difference. I did ask him if it's the whole division and he said yes. He is the yeoman so he's up to date with all seeing all the paperwork go through. He even saw his official orders! Yeah, because know I know things will not change last minute on us. [her husband] leaves on Saturday, but we don't know what time yet. I should be able to see him off at the airport. Where is Joe heading off to A school? I'm sorry, did you already tell me his rate?
