Thanks to the many moms and more that are here and ready to help when a sailor is in need! It is amazing to know that no matter where our sailors travel in the United States there is a mom there ready to rescue them with a hot meal, place to stay, or help to get back on the road!

To be added to the list send me (Susan mom to Niko) a friend request. Then you can send me a private message with your name, location and phone number. Then you are added to the list!

Ruth, you are so right (as always!). I'm visiting my son in Portsmouth, and saw Summer Starr's request here about her son in Norfolk. We found her son on his submarine and delivered dinner - two roast chickens, mashed potatoes, homemade stuffing, brownies for dessert, plus apple cider to wash it down, plus paper plates, cups etc. Summer, your son is an outstanding young man and it was my privilege to meet him. Happy Thanksgiving!

I wish all of you (and your sailors/soldiers) a Blessed and Safe Thanksgiving Holiday.

As a mother away from her son on Thanksgiving I am comforted with the thought that he will be going to NC with a shipmate for Thanksgiving and to spend the night in a comfy home. He just got into port at Norfolk on the USS Jason Dunham and I already texted him that he better call me on Thanksgiving so I can thank the parents who invited him. He is so excited to take the drive and see the country along with a big family get together. God bless you if you are reading this!!! Paula

I'm 2-1/2 hours north of Great Lakes, IL. If there are any sailors in A-School I'm close enough they can travel within the miles allowed without taking leave. Our home is open to any who want a family to share Thanksgiving with.

If there are any Sailors/Soldiers at NAS JRB in Fort Worth, TX that wants a home cooked meal for Thanksgiving our door is open.

I am a Navy Mom in Springfield, Missouri and would just love to have a sailor or two at my home for Thanksgiving Dinner. I have 4 kids at home now but the more the merrier. I realize that Springfield is in the middle of the US but anyone traveling through and stuck for a time can call on me. I have a sailor in Nebraska and appreciate the Moms there.
