Carrie, I am glad you got your passport so you are all ready to go. We are leaving May 25th and spending 4 days in Paris, then we are taking a flight to Naples and Stephen will pick us up at the airport. We will be in Naples and around there for 7 days with Stephen then we all take a train to Rome and we will be in Rome for 4 or 5 days, I cannot remember. We looked at going to Venice but it is so far. Only think my husband wants to do is go to a soccer game I sure they are playing then, Stephen has to look for the schedule. Carrie I hope I get to meet Amber and Sharon I would love to meet Devin, if I do I will give them the biggest hug and tell them it is from there mom. We have two tours in Paris and shopping, so far two tours in Rome and shopping and in Naples or around we are taking a boat and going swimming, going to pompei (sp) and Stephen wants us to go up the volcano, lol I hope I make it all. He is just so excited, he must really miss us.

Sharon, really! Oh he will be a really big help they need him so much. Are you ok with that is he? Keep us updated please.

AnnieJ I am leaving May 25 for Paris (3 days in Paris) and then on to Naples to spend time with my son and then we are all taking the train to Rome, he is so excited about us coming. We are staying with him in his new place so we do not have to get an hotel. You can stay in the Navy Lodge but I have learned you can only book 3 months in advance.

Carrie and Robin how are you two doing?

Well Moms, my son hasn't started at the clinic yet, was due to start this week but found out today that he will be deployed to Haiti this week! Not sure for how long but he will still be stationed in Italy when he gets done there. Never a dull moment!

Carrie you are going to have so much fun. Let me know what your plans are when you make them.

Oh I forgot to tell you of a wonderful site I am going to see, it is the best in the world, he is around 6"3" and has red hair and beautiful blue eyes and looks just like his father oh, it is STEPHEN, LOL it is really the only site I really want to see. LOL Got you going there for a minute!!!

Carrie those are really great pictures, all of Stephen's pictures are on his FB. Carrie when do you plan on going? We are going to Paris, then to Naples and then all of us are going to Rome. Yes we have a tour of the Vatican, yes we will see the Spanish Steps and the Pantheon. I don't think we will go to Venice to far away and we don't want to use Stephen's roommates car so we will get around by bus or train, taking the train from Naples to Rome.

Jill they are not suppose to cook in there rooms, I thought I would do the same but Stephen did not want to be caught with that in his room. They do have a microwave. They can go to a kitchen to cook, it has everything they need but they have to clean up after themselves. Stephen did that a few times with a group of guys but it was a pain. I heard that there is somewhere to eat in the Hospital. Stephen told me a few of his friends do eat there.

Carrie, yes those are great places, Stephen has been there too but the day he went he could not get into the Vatican but we have booked a tour to get in so he will get to see if after all.

Hi Robin!

Oh! I wonder if it's that fountain that's on TV these days...I can't rmember what the commercial is for but it's a fountain in Rome? Will have to put the TV on tonight and watch for it - such an exciting Friday night! LOL Devin said he does a lot of working out and running and has actually dropped a few pounds since gettting to Italy. Can't imagine losing weight there! He finally got to meet the Dr he will be working with and the other people in that department, he will be starting with them on Wed. In Feb they are traveling to Spain to do eye surgeries there but he's not sure if he will be making that trip, he may have to wait for the next trip as he's the new guy! How exciting though!
