FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Carrie how is you son doing, what is he up too? Hope you are well also, the weather here in Chicago is not nice, cold and wet. Carrie where do you work? I work at a Catholic School, I have been here for 11 years, it is very close to home which makes it nice.

Jill, I love the lake also! We are looking into going to Capri, so he liked it? Yes that is what we would like to do if the weather is warm enough in May. Stephen when to Spain and seemed to like it. Boy these sailors are getting around. LOL

Jill I am glad you got to talk with your sailor. Sometimes they get so busy we don't hear from them and then we worry and miss them more. Jill I am planning to go see Stephen in May, I cannot wait. We need to catch up. Take care, good hearing from you.

Robin, everything you tell us help, thanks! I think I am going at a good time, well that is what my neighbor told me he is from Greek and he said that August and May were the best months to go, we are working around my daughter and her schooling. I don't care about shorts as long as I don't have to wear a winter coat.
