Hi Robin, yes Robin has been a great help!

Oh Robin, nowI cannot go (to the Vatican) because everything is hanging out on me. LOL Shopping I love shopping, my daughter and I will love it there. Thanks for the time frame, we have to go in May because that is when my daughter gets out of school, if we could go two weeks earlier the airfare would be half, but how can I tell my daughter she is not going. But I will keep that in mind for next time. I had hear that about them taking vacation around that time. WOW, those are pretty good fares for flying that is for sure. I remember last year they had a trip to Paris for around $49, wish I was going then. I think this trip is going to cost us more then we wanted, we were hoping to keep it around $10,000, did your eyes almost fall out with that price, but why go all that way and not go to Rome and Paris, my daughter speaks French and has always wanted to go so this is her chance. As always you are very helpful and I do thank you. Have a great day and talk with you soon.

Stephen has been to Pompeii (sp) and loved it, he has been to Sicily also and wants to take us there, I would love to see the sub base. I would like to go the Venice but we don't have the time, too far away, we are staying in Paris for 3 nights and then to Naples for a week and then taking a train with Stephen to Rome, we will fly home from there and Stephen will take the train back to Naples. We are working with a travel agency. My daughter speakes French so we are surprising her with paris, she is a Junior in college and works very hard and wants to be a doctor so we thought why not. I think I might have to sell my body for some money. LOL Well I won't get much. Stephen talked about taking a hike up the mountain, he is hoping it is cloudy so we can walk through them. This is going to be a trip of a life time, Robin you have been a great help.

Robin LOL you are so funny! Thank you so much I am going to talk to the travel agency about some of these ideals. I know Stephen wants to take us around but I would like do two days with a tour. I will let you know what we decide, if my son keeps making me mad I am not going. LOL Have a great day!

Hi! Hope everyone else is doing great, Carrie you should be on your way, enjoy!

Robin, Stephen's indoc was for one day. LOL They other men had 3 weeks of indoc, he must of came in toward the end of it. His sponsor was no good, he picked him up at the airport and that was the last he saw of him, but Stephen had a friend out there who really helped him, so he was glad. Yes he is on that base. Robin they do have buses but have cut down on them a lot to save money so it is very hard to get to the other base unless you have a car, he does not but his friend does so that helps a lot. They do offer a class for our sailors to take to learn so of the language. The trains are very cheap to get around but the buses really don't have a schedule, you could wait for hours for one to show up. Robin thank you for all the information, we are going to visit in May we are starting out in Paris, then Naples and then Rome, do you have any suggest where to go in Naples, I would like to take a few day trips. Thanks for your help.

Carrie, that would be so nice to get together with everyone, I would love to meet all of you.

Carrie, she will have sponor that will help her, Stephen's was not very good, I hope Amber has a better one, she can always talk with my son also, he has talked to many of my friends sailors who went there it does help to know what to expect. I have even talked with a boy or two myself to help them out, I had a mom Pam she was a great help for me, we know nothing, and with him going so far away I was glad to know what was going on.
