Adele, it is so hard when they are so far away.  Skype is so wonderful.  Keep sending him care packages and skyping with him.  He will be all right.  He schedule will change and then he will be off at night and can make friends.  I know that makes you feel bad I have been there so many times.  It will be ok and it does get easier.

Ladies, we are doing Easter Cards and thanking our sailors for serving if you would like your sailor to get a card please send me their information, here is my email dcollins@cajetan.org  Thanks!

Pam I am so glad Jamie is coming home, I do remember the first time Stephen came home and surprised me OMG it was wonderful have a wonderful visit with him.

Jamie will be home for 16 days.  He left Dec. 2010, so it will be close to 15 months since he was home last.  We don't even try Skype anymore.  I guess too many people were taking advantage of the free one!

When is Amber due?  Hopefully her pregnancy will be an easy one and I'll be thinking about her.

Debbie - hope Stephen passed for E-5.  Jamie keeps gaining points each time he takes the test so this time it looks pretty good for him.

I'm flying into Chicago this Friday for a wedding on Saturday.  It's going to be fun to see the family again.  I return to Atlanta on Monday, so it's another whirlwind trip.  One of these days I'm going to take a week off and try to see everyone.

Hi, how is everyone doing?  There are so many wonderful places to visit in Italy and some many place to visit around Italy.

Carrie how is Amber doing?  I cannot remember the girls name she would hang around a lot with Amber is she still there?

Hi Pam, how are you?  under 20 days isn't that wonderful, how long has it been since he has been home?  I wiill keep my fingers crossed for E4.

Stephen took his test on Friday for an E5 keep your fingers crossed.

We are under 20 days now!  So glad to hear Rachel loves Naples!  Jamie already has a list of American food that he wants while he is home.  Says pasta gets really old after a while.  I called him the poor depraved American because he hasn't had a chick-fil-a or a wendy's in a long time! It does seem to be a tight knit group there at Capo.  He took his advancement exam for the third time yesterday.  We'll find out in a couple months if he makes E4.  I've got a busy couple of weeks, so I'm sure his arrival will be here before we know it.

I'm sure Quantico was impressive.  Not only is it the marine base, but that's where the FBI trains.  Really neat.

Hi! I haven't been on for awhile. I just talked to Rachel. She can't wait to get back to Naples. She misses her "family" there. She is studying at Walter Reed and has visited Quantico. She was telling me how big the commands are there. She said that she was so lucky to get Naples as her first command. This trip back to the states has taught her not only about immunization, but that she loves being stationed in her "little" command. She is counting down the days until she gets back to Naples. I'm just happy she is happy. I can't wait to visit Italy. I'm watching travel zoo.com for their weekly specials. They send out a weekly email with all the best deals they find and its free.

Pam...how many days until Jamie comes home?

Carrie - glad to hear Amber is doing good!  Jamie just paid over $800 for a roundtrip ticket home.  Ouch!   But it will be worth it just to see him for the first time in over a year!

Emily - isn't it great?  I'm so glad my son took Italy and has been able to see things that some of us can only read about.  He is ready to come back to the States though.  No surprise since he never could sit still for very long growing up.

Sheryl it will cost her a small fortune.  It is worth every penny but it is costly.  The sites are amazing, start saving now so you can go visit too.

Pam, it is not cheap no matter what they do. If they can catch a transporter plane out they save a lot of money but I believe there are no seats, lol that is ok if they save a lot of money.  I can see a BIG party at your house.  I do believe a discount would be nice, I am not asking them fly free but a little deal would  be nice.  Just enjoy!!!!
