Hi Pam, how cool you found a bride nutcracker, if you can post a picture of her, I would love to see it.  It is hard when the kids are not home for the holidays but traveing is so good for them, what amazing places they go to.  I am so blessed to have both of my kids home this year, it is going to be a really good holiday for us. Enjoy your Christmas and your brothers house and be safe.

How is everyone doing?  Any snow?  We have had a little here in Chicago, not much, Stephen is looking for snow, maybe a little later closer to Christmas, but not too much.

Hi all!  I never found the Nutcracker bride, so my daughter will just have to settle for the Pirate Nutcracker this year!  Argh!

Hope everyone gets to hear from their Sailor's this Holiday and for all those traveling, stay safe and enjoy!  We'll miss Jamie this year, but I think him traveling and seeing all he can of Europe will create memories that will last a lifetime.  We'll be traveling about 40 minutes from home to have dinner with my brother and his family.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hi Debbie and everyone else.  Jamie has finally gotten all of his packages for his birthday from last month and Christmas.  The mail seems to be moving again.  Thank goodness!

I will keep my eyes open for you Pam for the nutcrackers.  Yes we all went, we started in Paris, my duaghter speaks French and then went to Naples to see Stephen and then we all went to Rome with Stephen we were there over two weeks, it was wonderful it was so nice to be with Stephen.  I got to see where he lived and the area, it put my mind at peace, no one is getting on that base no way so I knew he was safe on base.  It was a once in a life time trip.

It's great to know I'm not the only one!!  And how funny, but two years ago I started buying my daughter nutcrackers for Christmas.  This will be our third year and she has asked for a nutcracker bride.  So if anyone sees that while they are out and about, please share!  I believe she seen it at Target and I plan on going there this weekend.  Did your daughter have a chance to go to Italy when you traveled there to visit Stephen?

Pam I love the t-shirts, that is what I was always sending Stephen, LOL  I collect nutcrackers and he sent me a beautiful one last Christmas from Italy, I keep it out all year round I just love it, it was one of the nicer gifts I have gotten.  My daugher is always looking for the t-shirts from the pup crawls, which he had MANY!!!!! LOL

Yes I like when they are in numbers also much better.  Yes Pam they are seeing more then we will every see for sure!

LOL - I get t-shirts Debbie!  Ha, ha..  Jamie tries to go to all the Hard Rock Cafe's and will send us a glass or something with the location on it.  He tries to send his sister stuffed animals with the place he's at also.  But it was always a running joke that no matter where I went, I would buy my boys' t-shirts.  Kind of one of those silly traditions..

Teri - good to see there's a couple more going with.  Safety in numbers!  I was thinking on my way into work today about how cool that would be (and hard too since it's Christmas) to go somewhere you've never gone before.  I think I'm actually jealous of my own son!  Ha, ha.
