Well come on up, it is the best pizza. lol Even better then Italy. I found Italy pizza was very thin crust and sauce is too watery, well that is just my opinion.
Darn Debbie - I miss Chicago style pizza! Ha, ha.... I do need to schedule a trip up there sometime soon. My nephew has a little two month old that I have not seen yet.
Good to hear from you Sharon and so glad that Devin is doing well. It has been awhile since we heard from Carrie.
They are funny Pam when they come home, give me food. LOLOLOL And we are glad to take them. Oh yes Stephen wanted Chicago pizza he missed that too.
Hi Sharon, good to hear from you. Glad Devin is doing so well I am glad. Yes Italy is wonderful but I know Stephen is glad to be out of there.
Hi Moms! Sorry, it's been a while since I've checked in! Devin is doing well in Afghanistan, really likes being at a NATO unit, has met all kinds of folks! Sadly they are keeping busy (not a good thing when you have busy surgical units) but he states most of those they are treating are Afghani's not so many Americans so I guess that is a good thing... At least he is doing what he likes to do, I guess all that living like a rock star in Italy can get a bit boring after a bit! LOL!
Wondering how Amber is doing on her deployment to Cuba? Both will be back to Italy around the same time...
Hope everyone is well and getting ready for a wonderful Christmas! Hugs!
There is a Mcdonald's around somewhere because Jamie has a picture from last weekend of him eating there.
Debbie - I can just imagine him eating all the way home! So funny..
The first thing Jamie wanted when he got home to Georgia was a chicken sandwhch from Chick-fil-a. He lived off them while he was in school.
The only place on base to eat is subway which Stephen will never eat again, lol and pizza. I think they have a McDonalds off of base but Stephen says it is not the same. But he did not lose any weight so he ate. The first time Stephen came in from Italy we stopped at dunkin donuts, white castle, he ate the whole time he was home. LOL, well it was over two years since he was home, he was tired of the microwave.
It's funny because I have a surrogate son in the AirForce that is an MP and then Philip is an MA so I get to hear constant battles over who/which is better. The military branches are so competitive with each other but yet they are all Brothers/Sisters when it comes down to looking out for each other!! I'm sure your son does miss the chains. I know when Philip came back from boot camp and "A" School the first thing he wanted was Chick-filet.
Good to know Grasshopper! Jamie has only been in the Navy for a year and a half so we're still learning as we go. He has also raved about the food there. He said he does miss chain restaurant's though (Applebee's, Red Lobster, etc.).
They may have called them MP's but in the Navy that is not the correct term for them. They are MA's or Master at Arms and the guys will generally be pretty quick to correct them. I think it's a Navy pride thing. lol
Well when I was down there Pam they did call them MP so I think you are right but I know they did (well my son) did call them MP and the girls I met were MP they also said they were MP
