I will have to look at his Facebook page and see if I can spot her! Their about the same age (he's 22 now), so I'm sure they have a lot in common. Hopefully he's behaving himself. LOL.
Thanks Pam....I'm mailing Rachel's Xmas boxes tomorrow. I mailed her a box of DVD's 3 weeks ago and she still hasn't received them. I do believe Rachel and Jamie are friends. :) I see him all the time in her FB pictures!!
It's hard Teri... this was our second Thanksgiving without Jamie and will be our first Christmas this year without him. He was able to make it home last Christmas before heading to Naples last year. I can say for certain that it is just as hard on the kids as it is us. I just keep reminding Jamie that Atlanta and home will always be there and that he should embrace the opportunity to travel and learn all he can. Hopefully that helps him.
Happy Thanksgiving!! Rachel had a nice dinner with a group of sailors. Everyone made something. They all had a great time. This was my first holiday without Rachel. Even though we talked and cried together it is hard. Her 21st birthday is coming up and then Christmas :( I know she is happy and safe, so that gives me some comfort. She met a very nice American family in Naples. The mom works for the dept. of defense. I've been chatting with her on FB and she is going to bake Rachel a birthday cake :) I shopped for Rachel yesterday and was crying in the stores. My older daughter and husband miss her so much. Skype is great!! I least I get to see her beautiful face!!! Thanks for letting me vent....I just think about all the mom's out there with sons/daughters who are on the front lines in Afghanistan and know I have nothing to complain about. Happy Holidays and may Santa be good to you all......Thanks for your support Teri
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Jamie was able to skype and all my family was able to talk to him!
Need advice!! Can anyone let me know when I should have Jamie's Christmas in a box sent? I'm really worried if I send by Dec. 1 he won't get it in time because I sent him his birthday box on Nov. 12 and he never got it before the holiday and his birthday was Nov. 22.
Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Stephen is going to play some hockey tomorrow with his friends and then off to Grandma's house. The family is so excited to see him. Enjoy your families and be safe. Love Debbie
