lol Pam, the weather is not too bad for this time of the year. I know when my parents come in (they live in Florida) they cannot stand the cold anymore. Even Stephen saids that it is colder here then Italy and they don't really get snow they get a lot of rain. That is nice he is visiting, what area is your husband in? In November my sister, mother, Stephen, and my husband and a few friends they all have birthday. Plus November 18th Stephen will be in the Navy for 3 years, WOW!
Hope everyone else is doing have a nice weekend.
Pam Happy Birthday to your boys!
Hope everyone is doing good!! Can't believe it's November! Jamie's and his brother's birth month along with about five other people in the family. Crazy!
Debbie - my husband is flying into Midway on Thursday to spend the weekend with friends of his. It looks like the weather will not be too bad. Which is good for him since his blood has really thinned in the 11 years we've been in Georgia!!
Jamie has taken the E4 exam twice, but the first time was not too long after he'd gotten out of boot and A School, so he knew that the first one was mostly practice. He said it was pretty tough the second time he took it... I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of them!
No it will be closer to Dec., or Jan and the he can take it again in March. He said this one was hard. They seem to make them harder and the % that pass is much less, he said E4 was a piece cake, LOL but if he passed E5 has a lot more options and then maybe he will go back full time, we will see. I know a sailor who made his E5 around 8 months ago and is still waiting for the increase in pay how crazy is that, that is terrible I think.
Well today is Wed., have a great day!
I think Stephen likes it but he could not get out of Italy, that was the hard part and then he leave well everyone leaves were cancel, not just his everyone. He is not the only one stuck there many have had their time extented to a year more. Can can still go full time if he wants, waiting for his test result, becoming an E5 would give him more options. It is hard around the holidays for everyone.
LOL yes he did a good job but all of the closets are packed but it helped he packed his bags just in case he is called he is ready to go. It is funny I did not want him in the Navy and then I got use to it, I wanted him to stay in but be closer to home. Jobs are so hard out there to fine but he seems very happy so that is good. Yes I still had items in Stephen closet and drawers now I had to move all of my things out of there, I thought I had another year to get ready, LOL
