Good for him Debbie!  It's sounds like a successful separation from active duty.  Jamie goes back and forth with liking it to not liking it.  I think he's ready for a visit home.  And the holidays are coming up so I'm sure it's hard.  He's been gone for 10 months now and this is the longest since he joined the Navy.  That first year he was able to come home and visit twice.

So, did Stephen get his belongings out of your living room?  LOL.  I still have some of Jamie's things in a closet.

Hi, ladies just stopped in to say hi.  Stephen is doing good  and is working, so far so good.  He does not miss Italy but he does miss his friends but he does talk to them on the computer.  He will do his weekends at Great Lakes and will probably be called in 6-8 months for duty in VA.

How is everyone doing?

Today is Friday and Stephen's items where delivered from Great Lakes so he is very happy.  How long do you think those boxes will be sitting in my living room?  LOL  I hope everyone had a nice weekend!

Pam I think the sailors love they get boxes from us.  Hopefully Stephen's items will come tomorrow they lost his paper work and his items are sitting at Great Lakes, that is ok they lost his bags when he went to Italy, so why should this be different. LOL  Pam that is why I love skype is that you get to see them sorry about  your camera.  Good with you spending all you money at the post office they will not have to close for a day or raise stamps.

How is everyone else doing?

Hi everyone!!  Rocky Point just sounds gorgeous Carrie!  I got to skype for a few minutes with Jamie on Sunday and then my camera decided to go out. Of all the rotten things that could happen!  Oh, I was so mad...  My laptop is only four years old, but it's got issues and I've been trying to limp through until next year, but now it looks like my hands are tied and I'll have to go and get a new one sooner rather than later!!  I'm busy gathering up Halloween care packages that I'm going to send to Jamie and a Sailor friend of his.  November is Jamie's birthday month, so I've already started to gather things for that box!  I think I'm keeping the post office in business this year!  Have a great week everyone!

Carrie, where is Rocky Point?  I bet the trees were beautiful!  Did it rain?  Yes the sailors do get very bust and have no time to call but I am sure you will hear from her soon, maybe she is just having too much fun!!!!!

LOL Stephen has been to many bar crawls in Rome, my daughter went with him when we were in Rome, it is a lot of fun.

I know a lot of thinks have changed in Italy, with the budget cuts so make sure you check with someone about the car.  They are getting very cheap.  If you want to live off of base now they don't pay like they use too, but they do give the sailors to move back on base, usually you reached an E4 they wanted you off of base for new sailor but now I think they have more room then they did when Stephen first got down there.

Grasshoper best of luck to your son it is a beautiful place to visit.

Rome is also so beautiful Rachel'smom they will have a great time.  Did they take the train?

Rachel is going to have a blast Teri!!  Jamie left for Naples a couple days before New Year's last year and did the New Year's bar crawl in Rome.  What a way to ring the new year!!  He's been a little quiet the last week or two, so I know he's probably out and about doing his thing.
