Yes Pam he is doing well.  I  wish he would reup but I know he doesn't want too, the world is a hard place to find a job, I wanted him to stay in my closer to home.  It is funny I did not want him to go in but it was a good choice and now I don't want him out. LOL  That is why Stephen wants out is if he has a family he does not want want to live that way.  Not ez but some men and women do it.    Nice you have four days, just enjoy.  My daughter works 10 hour days but is off on Friday so that is nice it gives her a 3 day weekend.

Hi Debbie!  We've also got rain but boy we needed it.  Sounds like Stephen has adjusted pretty well.  I remember when my husband got out of the Army, he wanted to go right back in.  Just not the place back then for a young family.  At least it wasn't for us.  Have a great weekend everyone!  I'm off on Friday's this month, so my weekend always starts on Thurs!  Love the four day work schedule!

Stephen bought his cell phone out in Italy and pays through skype he gets a better rate, we use skype most of the time.  We used fb a lot also Stephen could get on fb at work so I could catch him there every now and then, it is so important to hear from them, makes our day.

Teri - oh good!  They look like they're about the same age, and my son is not one to sit still, so if she likes to go and see things, he would be the one to look up. LOL.  It's amazing the things he has seen and done in the last ten months. I miss him like mad and we haven't had a skype date in a couple of weeks, but Facebook keeps us connected!

Glad to hear your daughter made it safe and sound Rachel!  I think my son got his cell phone through the service on base, but I'm not sure.  I can ask him.  She's going to love it there.  Lots and lots of history!

Sharon - Devin will be in my thoughts and prayers.  Glad to hear he made it safe!  How long is his tour going to be?

Hey Rachel - glad you decided to check this group out, awesome moms with lots of info!  :0)

Hey y'all!  Heard from Devin today, getting into the swing of things in the sandbox, they have officially taken over as the previous group has headed home and they are now on their own.  Says they have seen a lot of surgeries already, mostly on Afghan Nationals.  Think he is kind of missing Italy, definitely missing the good food :0)

Hope everyone has a great weekend, looks like we're going to get some rain down here - yay.  Hugs!

Hi Everyone  My daughter just got to Naples on Wednesday and checked in yesterday.  She starts her new good as a Corpsman on Tuesday.  She is so excited to be in Italy.  We have been Skyping and FB chatting.  Any advice on cell phones?  She went to the cell phone store and they want her to sign a 3 year contract.  She is going to see some of the sites this weekend with her sponsor.  Happy weekend to you all :)

Pam you are welcome.  They don't do anything like that in Naples, it is kind of sad the first year he was there I felt so bad.  The sailors did cook a Thanksgiving dinner for themselves, I can just see the mess in the kitchen, LOL  but Stephen said it was good.  They BQ a lot and throw a football around so that is nice.  It is hard for everyone when they are so far away.  Your are very welcome!  Any questions just ask.
