Thanks all! I know it will get better as I adjust to him being there. I have a real good friend in Kandahar right now that is on his 6th deployment and Devin knows how to reach him if he needs him so that also helps put my mind at ease.
I'm sorry to hear Amber is hating it Carrie, hopefully she will make the best of her weekends and enjoy them. :0)
Oh, Sharon - Navy Mom (((hugs))) to you. I can't even imagine how hard that is for you. Jamie has been talking about deploying to the sand box. He's a Corpsman also and has been through FMTB so I know it could happen. But, I won't borrow worry until I have no choice.
Carrie - I seen a post that Amber made on Jamie's wall about loving Fridays now and I understand now why she said that!! Ha, ha... good for her. Doing paperwork was one of Jamie's least favorite jobs when he was going through clinicals.
Sharon I will keep him in my prays, I think about him often. I know about that crying it just comes upon you, it is terrible.
I am sorry Amber is hating it that is no fun, how long will she be there? LOL yes that is so true how high!!!!!
Thanks for letting me stick around, I don't think you could get rid of me anyway.
Wow Debbie that is awesome!! This has been a tough week for me, my corpsman is enroute to Afghanistan as I speak. One of those cry for no apparent reason weeks - LOL! Had a wonderful weekend with him up at Ft Dix though and we went to NYC for a couple of days and were able to see the 9-11 Memorial and I got to meet some of his unit so it's all good, just an adjustment!
Carrie - is Amber in Cuba yet? How is it going for her?
Ok y'all have a great day, just wanted to pop in and say hi!
