Sorry I did not like the wine either I like sweet wine and their wine is dry.  But they do have as they call it lite coke.  LOL

Stephen has a car and a motorcycle, he loves it there.  We went to visit Stephen last year we started in Paris, went to Naples and then to Rome, it was so much fun.  I did not car much for there food, but everyone else seem to like it.  The only thing I do not like is that on the Capo base there is no where for the sailors to eat so every thing  that Stephen cooks comes out of a microwave YUK!!!  Your sailor will love it there.

Carrie I am so glad Amber is home, yes the time goes way too fast, I hate the goodbyes.  Tell her I said hey!

Happy Friday to everyone, how all is well.

I hear fender benders are the norm.  LOL.  Jamie said they had about four cars bump into one another one time, they got out looked at the cars, shook hands and went on about their business.  Crazy!  One good thing is they have the train system over there that will take you just about anywhere.  He said Rome is about an hour on the train.

Hi Debbie!!

Emily - Jamie bought a motorcycle from a fellow Sailor when he got over there.  We still have his car at our home.

Hi Emily, WELCOME!  My son is an IT and lives  on Capo Base.  He is an E4 and will be there almost 3 years in November.  I live in Chicago, IL Skype is the best and it is free.  I could  not make it without skype, it is nice to see  them when you are talking  to them.   He loves it there and has seen many beautiful places.  Have any questions just ask.

Hi Ladies, how is everyone doing?

Yep, Jamie's an E3 also.

Got it.  That is close.  I know the Mary that is in charge of the Georgia Moms Forum.  I pop in there every now and then.  My son has been in since April of 2010.  What is your son's rate?

Really? We're in Conyers, east of Atlanta.  What part of Georgia do you live in?  How long has your son been in the Navy?

He's in for a treat weatherwise then.  Every time I ask Jamie about the weather since it's been sweltering here in Georgia all summer, he laughs and says it's perfect.

Welcome to the group Emily!  My son is a Corpsman and he has been there since the end of December.  God Bless Skype is all I have to say!  LOL.  He misses the states, but loves exploring Europe.  He's been to Rome a few times, flew to Paris for a couple of days and is headed to Barcalona soon.  Naples itself is pretty dirty from what I hear and the driving is nuts!  He works at the clnic at the Capo base and has most evenings off right now, but still has to do 24 hour duty frequently.  Let us know if you have any questions!
