Sharon, that is so great Devin is coming home. You will have a wonderful Christmas with him there. That is the best way to do it, shop when he gets home, then you spend a little time together and she gets what he wants. Have fun at a walk that is wonderful of you to do that.

Hey y'all! Devin is also moving into a house with a few of his buddies, guess this is the time to do it as others are finishing up there time in Naples and moving on! He is coming home for Christmas so I won't send anything just yet, we'll probably shop together here for what he needs and then ship it just before he heads back. 53 more days till he's home! He's working on Thanksgiving, said he volunteered as he will be gone for Christmas. Have a great weekend all! I'm off to walk in the Tampa Bay Breast Cancer 3-day Walk this weekend, weather is supposed to be great so I'm excited! :0)

I know Carrie I so much wanted you to meet Stephen, I was a little disappointed too but I am so glad you got to see Amber and had a wonderful time with her. Yes I bought a lot for Stephen's place also, I ordered a lot from Kohl's. Macy's gave me free shipping. How long will Amber be in Italy?

I loved the Amalfi coast. Stephen drove us so it worked out good. He even stopped a few times so we could take a few pictures.

Carrie, sounds like you had a nice time, I am glad, I saw your pictures they are wonderful. I had no problem with people smelling bad and we took several buses and trains. I am glad you are safe and home. I know you had a wonderful time and the best part you got to see your daughter, she is looking good. Well you know the Navy hurry up and wait. LOL We must of went at the right time, not a lot of people yet so no where was really crowded and we did have on day rain in Paris, but very little.

Sharon, last year Stephen sold tickets to the ball so he got one ticket free. The hotel they have the ball in is the hotel where we stayed when we went to see Stephen, very nice.

What a great picture of Amber and the shoreline.

Welcome home Carrie! So happy to hear you had a nice time with Amber! Devin tells me all the time that the people in Italy smell bad but that's about the only complaint he's had, body odor - what a goofball!
Is Amber going to the Navy ball tonight? I guess Dev was on the committee putting it on so he had to go but I'm sure they didn't have to twist his arm too much, he's always up for a party! Just warned him to keep his clothes on and stay out of the pool, unlike the Corpsman Ball there will be many higher ups at this one! :0)

Paying to use a bathroom, I did not have to do that. I am so glad you had time with Amber, it is so important for us. I have been on fb and I have seen a lot of those places and I did notice you were on a bus and train in some of the pictures. How wonderful!

I bet that is hard being so far apart fo such a long time, but if it is meant to be it will all work out. Well they must not fight too much. LOL She sounds happy and I know that is all you want for her. Robin, how long has your daughter been in the Navy? I know you probably have told me but I don't remember. If you are on fb, Carrie has posted some pictures from her trip.
