Hey y'all! Been busy on here haven't you!? Has Carrie already left on her trip? I wish her safe travels! Dev tells me they've been on high alert (I think in colors they are on red righ now) and that he's been staying close to base these days. Makes my heart hurt just thinking about it. He is to be moving off base this month and it worries me to pieces! He and several of his friends have rented a house about 5 minutes from base.
Pam- how is Jamie liking it there so far? I forgot to ask Devin if he's met her yet at the hospital, making a mental note to remember!
Debbie - find myself wondering if there is anything dietary that Steven can try to maybe help dissolve those stones, will look up some holistic sites and see if there's anything. Poor kid, that's just so painful!
Nothing new here really, can't wait for December to hurry and get here!

Well, my Corpsman has left for FMTB training in San Diego, will do his 8 weeks of training and then be off to Naples on December 26. Does them leaving ever get easy? I know I get to see him for 10 days at Christmas, but gosh, this is hard and he's going to be in the same country. I can't imagine how bad I'm going to miss him when he heads to Italy!!

Sounds like she is doing good. They did let Stephen move off of base with and E4 and gave him housing allowance, he was happy about that. I am glad she is driving better so you don't have to worry as much, we moms do enought of that, don't we. No Stephen still has those stones, he is seeing the doctor again this week. He told me he is learning to live with the pain he cannot take it at work anymore, he cannot work on the medicine. They are too small to zap, so I just don't know what they are going to do for him. thanks for asking about him.

LOL I don't like to see him with a gun either. He sends my the update, from Italy. They are not picking up garbage either at support side either, I like he sends me the updates.

We live in a crazy world don't we Robin, I did hear in France they were being very careful, I heard that on the news but did not hear about Naples until I talked to Stephen.

Hi Robin and Carrie!

Carrie Stephen just told me about the man with the bomb kit in Naples' train station, I knew they were worried about France but did not know it was that close to our kids. Stephen said he is carrying a gun now on and off base. Just take care!
