dosafrye, hi and welcome. Your son is on Capo which is where my son is. It is a small base compare to Support Side. I was just there at the end of May being of June. My son will be in the Navy for two year Novermber 18 and he is an IT, he loves it there and has seen so many places. He is now looking for his next base so I hope he gets what he wants.

Welcome Dosafrye!! One of these days I'm going to get used to my phone ringing and what Jamie told me last week is totally out the window and he's calling me to tell me something totally different! LOL. His orders posted. Instead of going to Camp LeJune that's close to home, he now has to report to Camp Pendleton. Aargh..... The class starts on October 13 and he'll finish Dec. 16. He's hoping to come home for a visit at Christmas time before he's to report to Italy by Dec. 30. Crazy!

Welcome Dosafrye! So is your son a Corpsman too? I'm thinking x-ray tech is a C-school after Corpsman school right? My son is a surgical tech. How long will your son be stationed there? My son got there last December and is there for 3 years. What does your other son do on the ship? I'm sure you miss seeing your grandbaby, do you get to skype with them?
Comment by dosafrye on September 24, 2010 at 2:46pm
He is on the smaller base and is an xray tech, in the hospital, he sometimes works in other areas too. He has been there since January 10, with his wife and my granddaughter. miss them so much!

Thanks Sharon, wow, sounds good. They will learn so much when they go through that trainning. Thank goodness for our corpsman. Leaving for MI Friday after work so I hope everyone had a nice weekend and talk to you next week. Oh, so far Stephen has not passed his stones.
