OMG Robin, I almost fell off of my chair watching that video, I sent it to Stephen, thanks that made my day. I have to get my husband to watch it.

Just make sure you get on the right train, Amber will know which one to get on for Rome. Good think we had Stephen or we would of had a harder time finding our way around. You are going to have to much fun!

I have heard that the Jacksonville base is not as nice as the P-Cola base so if Stephen is going to FL, hope he makes the right choice.

Sharon, home for the holidays how wonderful is that, Stephen is putting in for Christmas also but he can only do it one month out, so lets hope he makes it home, but he should be home in April for 30 days and then on the his next base.

Hi Robin, how are you doing?

Not sure what the base is like at Jax but I have to go to that area several times a month for work and well, although the beach area is nice, especially north at Amelia Island, Jacksonville itself is crowded, the roads are miserable and well, yucky is the word that comes to mind! I've not been to Mayport, will def try to check it out! We are planning on heading to Italy next August, my son is actually coming home for Christmas! Will have all the kids home for the first time in over 5 years, soooo excited! Debbie - your trip sounds wonderful! I can't wait!

Carrie the train was the way to go for us. Stephen did have a car so that did help a little but he enjoyed the train also, well it was his vacation also so he wanted to relax a little also. You are going to have so much fun, I am so excited for you, I know you cannot wait to see your daughter.

Hi Robin!

Hey Sharon, so good to hear from you and that your son is still loving it. We went to see Stephen in May, 4 days in Paris, 7 days in Naples (we loved Carpi) and 4 days in Rome. You know the best part was see Stephen and spending 10 days with him. Ok, no Jacksonville, I think that is what he was thinking. I would love to have him closer. So you are thinking of going to Italy, you are going to love it. They sites are just amazing. Glad you stopped by so good hearing from you.

Hi Moms! Hope everyone is doing well, sounds like all your sailors are doing great! This has been a hectic summer so I've not been able to post too often. Devin is still loving life in Italy, he spent 4th of July weekend in Madrid! And then his 21st birthday was July 9th and he spent it in Capri! Frank and I are planning out trip over there for next summer, can hardly wait!
Carrie - sounds like you're heading over there real soon! I'm sure Amber is thrilled!
Merri - Hi! I'm Sharon, my son is a corpsman too, he's a surgical tech at the big hospital, he loves what he's doing!
Robin - how are you doing, Ali is still out at sea? Debbie - how about you? Stephen is thinking about FL? Tell him to shoot for Pensacola or down by the keys, much nicer areas than Jacksonville! Tell him a real Floridian said so! LOL
Well, just wanted to pop in and say hi! Hugs!
