Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Carrie you can go on line and find out how much the train will cost that is what we did before we left and Stephen knew some of the prices already.

Stephen has a mercedes stationwagon, it fit us 4 and all of our bags oh plus a friend. I like the train it worked for us but we did have Stephen's car so that helped. Most of the cars I saw were very small and crazy. LOL Where are you taking the train?

There are rules now??? LOL It was crazy. I was ok as long as I did not have to drive but just like anything I guess you get use to it.

Thanks Robin I will let Stephen know that he is a sponsor for 3 new sailors. I am so excited that your sailor is coming home, I would be smiling from ear to ear. She will be glad to be bad also.

Carrie, road trip sounds great, they get to see so much don't there. LOL yes motorcycles are fast but wait until you see how they drive you will know what I am talking about CRAZY!!!!! No I have not seen that movie but Amber would know. LOL Has she every drove out there? Usually her friend drive I would rather be in the passenger sit. My husband did not even want to drive, they are all nuts out there. LOL WOW! 63 days it will be here before you know it.

Yes he does and now he has a motorcycle, I think he is crazy, they drive like crazy and yes he does buy them, but thanks for the information, you are always so helpful. How are you doing? How is your sailor doing?

LOL Carrie I know you are counting. Talked to Stephen yesterday, he is doing great, he is a sponsor for 3 new sailors coming in August.

It is also very cold inside the building with all the computer servers. I did get to see where Stephen worked by did not get to go inside. LOL Well I did know that. I know Stephen loves it there so I am sure your son will also.
