I don't think he has a lot of info yet. I went by ATT, his IPhone won't be an option. Should her do a skype phone plan, or wait to get there and get a local plan. Also, how much is a phone plan in Italy?
I think we will be going there for Christmas so I would love info on places to stay in Naples and Rome if anyone has suggestions. I am intersted in a nice place, for reasonable amount.

Hi RyansMom, welcome to our group. My son is also an IT. Does you son know what his sponsor name is? My son is waiting for a new guy to come in and he is his sponsor, but I don't remember if he told me the sailor's name. Let me know. Any questions just ask, we will help you as much as we can. I just spent 14 days in visiting my son.

Hey, just joined this group. My son got his orders yesterday for naples, Italy. He is finishing IT A school in Pensacola. I know he is excited for this experience and I know I'll be needing lots of information.

Stephen is thinking maybe Jacksonville, Fl for his next base, much closer to me. He seems to like the ports they go to. Today he is spending the day on the Ike, it is in Naples so he is going to see how he likes it. Hope all goes well for him.

LOL, sorry I thought maybe she was coming home for a visit, well I wish she was. And yes it is better then being in the Arabian Sea. Yes Stephen is looking for his next base and he is thinking maybe FL on a ship or Maine, then he would do his job in a plane, I like FL I would be closer to him then, well only time will tell.

Robin I am so excited for you, take lots and lots of pictures. LOL Who is counting. LOL Sounds like fun your reunion, it is a lot of fun isn't it to meet up with friends. We try to go to dinner once a month here with the Chicago Mom's we always have a lot of fun. What is nice is that our sailors are all over and do so many different jobs so it is fun to compare notes.

Carrie you are not counting either I see. LOL When we took money out of the ATM the charge was only $1.50 so every time we took out we took as much as we could. You will do just fine. I bet Amber is counting the days. I mailed your pictures today so you should have them soon.

Robin, how long will your daughter be home for?

Hi Merri!

Oh, I forgot to tell you Stephen's went to Amsterdam last weekend and had a wonderful time. He said the people are very friendly. He had to fly to Rome and then another two hours to Amsterdam. Boy this is one lucky sailor.

Hi, Carrie I wanted to let you know that when we use the Capital One card to take money out they chared us $10, that was a lot, I thought. Sorry I haven't been around we took a week off and went out to MI.

Stephen bought his phone in Italy and he has pay as you go and it is much cheaper for him, well that phone works better for him.

How is everyone doing?

Hi Robin. What's new?
