Robin, LOL sounds pretty good to me, that is so nice that you have friends in Italy, well you did live there for 10 years so I hope you had friend. LOL I should of told you where I was staying, I did not even think of that. I LOVE the picture, you two look so happy, isn't that wonderful.

Carrie, he has to go in front of a board before he finds out about the Blue Jacket still waiting to hear. How are you. I ordered some pictures from Walgreens and I ordered extra of your daughter so if you give me your address I will mail you the few I have if you want them. If you want them. LOL I know you do.

Stephen does not use his phone too much in Italy, we use skype allt he time and facebook, he can get onto facebook at work so sometimes I can catch him there. He has a phone where you add on minutes he has learned the hard way and has had a big bill and he will not do that again.

Sorry I have been so busy I have been on this site in a while, but I have been thinking of all of you. Hope everyone is good.

Stephen says it is really hot out in Italy and last time I talked to him the air was not on yet.

ccNavyMom, how was it, I got back a few weeks ago and it was wonderful. We also walked at least 10 miles a day, we all lost weight. LOL But seeing Stephen was wonderful, I have had a heavy heart since he went into the Navy but I don't anymore I guess that is just want I needed was to see him and to really know he is ok and he is.

Hi Jill how are you? We have not talked in a long time. Where base will he be on Jill?

Well that is ok, I know it is hard for them to carry a camera with them, they don't want it to break or lose it. Hope she had fun!

I got to see the pics on FB and mostly because I'm FB friends with several of the kids over there, Dev is notorious for NOT taking enough pictures! Nothing like a bunch of sailors in dress whites letting off a little steam! In the pictures the first several are all pomp and ceremony, as they go on it's all dancing and looks they might even have had karaoke! And then of course there's the pool pictures, again - thank goodness they had busses to transport! Kind of looked like a wedding without the bride and groom! LOL

Robin we did stay in the Agora, it was really nice, the pool was nice but still kind of cold to go in.

Sharon, we were there for 14 days and we loved it, we did spend 4 days in Paris but the rest of the time with Stephen it was wonderful! It sounds like your son is doing great.

Amber is also taking care of the mother's to be, so they probably do. I wonder if Stephen knows him they all seem to hang around with everyone.

Carrie I would love to see some pictures of the ball. Stephen has been to a ball already and has sold tickets for the ball also. Where is the ball at? At the Agora, that is where Stephen's ball was.

Yep Dev's on the big base and he went to the ball and I actually saw pics of him in the pool! Silly boy, that little apple didn't fall too far from the tree I'm afraid! LOL
They posted a bunch of pics on FB and it looked like they had a great time! I liked that they took busses from base to go to it, no need to have any of them driving!
I'm pretty sure Dev and Amber know each other. The way they work his schedule is he's on days but as a surg tech he has duty every 3rd weekend where he is at the hospital 48 hours and then I think once a week he's on duty for 24 hours. He really likes what he's doing. He's getting ready to move off base soon, has a friend with a large house and extra rooms so a few of them are going to live there and share the bills, he's excited, me, not so much, I wish he'd stay on base a little longer but he says it's real close, like 5 minutes to base.

Hi Moms! Hope everyone is well! My boy is loving life in Naples, has been taking advantage of his time off and has been to Malta and Ibiza and Rome...sent me beautiful rosary beads from the Vatican for Mom's Day. Debbie - did you go over there? I am so envious!! We are planning our trip for next summer! Dev is in the general surgical ward and said he spends a lot of time in the OB ward as well, loves what he's doing and says everyone there is really nice. Hope all are well, I hardly seem to find time to get on here and chat!

I am glad you got to see the pictures Carrie, and I wanted to tell you I mad a mistake with Amber's friend name it is Amanda, I thought it was Megan, Stephen corrected me yesterday. LOL
